*Trunks Briefs x Reader*

"Trunks?" Suddenly I heard someone quietly sobbing, it must be him... Slowly I walked up to the sobbing sound, and it really was him. He leaned against the building of the Time Patroll, his hands were hiding his face and his sobbing got worse. As I touched his shoulder he moved his hands aside and looked at me with huge tears in his eyes. "The Supreme Kai of Time was right but ... Trunks I understand why you did interfere the mission." I took him into my embrace and realized that his body heat was really warm. "..." No answer. "Just to let you know, I would have done the same..., I'm sorry that I had to stop you but it was for the best." Finally he laid his arms around me and placed his head on my neck, even his sobbing nearly stopped. Softly I stroked his back to make him feel more comfortable. For a long time we held each other close without saying anything, but all of a sudden Trunks started talking. "Thank you..." Brightly I smiled at him. "No problem at all Trunks!" Suddenly I felt him rubbing my back, which felt really nice but wasn't I supposed to make him feel better, instead of him making me feel better. Trunks made me worry so much... but it seems like everything is better now. Actually I don't know why but slowly I felt Trunks breath getting warmer and warmer on my neck. "I would like ... to thank you properly." Before I even realized a thing, his lips were already on mine. Shortly after that kiss, he lifted me off the ground and slightly flew a little bit higher, just to lay down in the air, so that I would be on his chest. We were flooding through the air, without even carring that someone could see us. As I hid my face in his chest, he simply laid a hand on my head, gently stroking my hair. For some time we forgot about everything, nothing was important in the moment, it was just the two of us. When was the last time, when we were together? Most of the time we were on missions or I would have been training with some people. After some time Trunks decided to speak. "[Y/N] we need to talk..." With a swift movement he carefully was letting me down on the ground again. Trunks took a deep breath and looked into my [Y/EC] eyes. "I think I've fallen for you." I was shocked that he felt the same. "Trunks... I've fallen for you too." This time I came closer to him and sweetly kissed his lips.
Even if time will part us, we'll always find a way back to each other... at least that's something that I believe in....
