I woke up with a gloomy mood. Maybe, I woke up at the wrong side of the bed. I saw Maddie's sleeping figure. I stood up and went to her.

Inayos ko yung hair niya. She's still the prettiest girl for me. She's still the reason why my heart beats fast. I sat beside her and hold her hand.

Are you up all night kaya thinking of me? Am I in all your dreams? Do I haunt your thoughts? Do you regret rin kaya the last words we spoke? That the last time we touched was a year ago? Do you miss me rin kaya like I miss you?

I sighed and stood up. Ayoko magising siya na ganun ang itsura ko. Yes, you may call me a coward for not telling her that I remember her. If only you knew how hard it is for me.

"Bei? You done taking shower?"

"Yes, wait lang."

As soon as I opened the door, I saw Maddie standing there and smiling like a little kid.

"You okay?" Tanong niya sakin.

I nodded at nilagpasan na siya. I saw my my bed na maayos na, napakunot noo naman ako. When I went to the bathroom magulo pa ang bed ko. Natigilan ako ng narealize ko na si Maddie ang nagayos ng bed ko. I smiled weakly. Shit, why does she have to do this?

Maddie being Maddie had a second round for taking shower. I waited for her para magpasalamat. When she got out, she was shocked when she saw me here.

"You waiting for me?" She asked.

"Yup, thanks pala."

"For what?"

"Sa pagayos ng bed ko."

She smiled. "Mahirap baguhin ang nakasanayan na."

I smiled at her. "I know."

Sabay kami bumaba ni Mads. All eyes on us. Napakunot noo naman ako.

"What?"

They shook their heads and smiled like they found out something. Mas lalo naman akong napakunot ng noo.

"Alam mo, beh? Bagay talaga kayo." Bulong ni Jho sakin.

"Shut up."

"Ay, ang sungit? Nyare?"

"Just shut up, picasso."

But she ended up laughing. I don't understand Jhoana's mood sometimes. Gosh, she's my bestfriend slash girlfriend.

"Miss mo siya?" She asked again.

"I always do."

"Wala namang bago."

"Nagtanong ka pa?"

Wala kaming training today 'cos coach Tai went to Thailand. Yay this life! But unfortunately, my teammates had plans na already. I guess, I'll be left here. It's alone time.

"Don't have plans, eh?"

"Wala. How 'bout you, chinky?"

"What? Chinky?"

"Chinita. Chinky."

She hits my shoulder. "Napaka mo, de Leon!"

"What did I do, Madayag?"

Yes, I'm with Maddie. Si Jho ayun nakalayas agad. I don't know where was she going. Di rin naman niya sinabi.

"Let's play a game." Maddie caught my attention.

"What?"

"Bawal tumawa challenge."

"What? Was that a game?"
