"Magready na kayo ah? Aalis na tayo in a minute." Ate Ly said.

It's Sir Tony's birthday party. And we we're invited. It'll be a reunion for awvt and amvt. It's been a year naman na simula nung nagkita kita kami.

I was staring at myself sa salamin when Maddie appears, and just like the other day, she was smiling whole heartedly. My heart melts everytime I see her smile like that.

"Let's go na, Bei." She said.

I nodded and made my way to my car. She'll ride with us. This is the first time na makakasakay ulit siya sa kotse ko. I don't know but it feels right. Knowing that she's right there making my heartbeat fast.

"We're here na!" Masiglang sabi ni Kat.

"Omg, ateneo lang talaga ang invited?" Gizelle asked.

"I think, yes. Ateneo lang kasi ang nakikita ko." I said.

We went inside na and looked for Sir Tony to greet him. We saw him with the coaching staffs, they were all laughing.

"Look at coach Tai." Maddie said. "He's laughing like there's no tomorrow.. and you wouldn't ever think that you'll have a love-hate-love-hate-hate-hate relationship with him."

We laughed at Maddie's. Well, she's right naman. Coach Tai will make you love volleyball but at the same time he'll make you hate it.

"Happy birthday, Sir Tony!" We all greeted him. He was so happy.

Looking at Sir Tony makes me wanna hug him. He's the reason why me and my teammates had a solid bond. He's the reason behind our stardom.

"What are you thinking?" Ponggay asked me.

I shook my head. "Wala. There's Deanna oh."

"Ugh. Shut up."

I laughed. "Say, hi naman to her!"

"Why don't you ask Maddie to dance na lang ka?" She asked me.

I raised an eyebrow. "Ako nanaman nakita mo."

"Just ask her."

Wala na akong nagawa dahil hinila na ako ni Ponggay papunta kila Maddie. I shook my head dahil sa kakulitan ni Ponggay. Wala din nagawa si Maddie kaya napunta kami sa dancefloor.

"Fate is playing again." Maddie said while were slowly dancing. "Barely even friends.."

"I know, Mads. I know."

She's beauty, and I'm the Beast. She accepted who I am. She loves me even if I gave her reasons not to. She stayed by my side even if I gave her reasons to let me go.

I hugged her. This is the first time I held her in my arms again. I was trying so hard not to cry.

She hugged me back, "I missed you."

I was taken a back at what she said. "I missed you kahit na ang layo layo mo na sakin.

Biglang nabasag yung puso ko sa sinabi ni Maddie. "Nandito lang naman ako."

"Nandito ka nga, pero sa iba ka na nakatingin." She said.

"Beast." She said and chuckles. "I miss my BEAst."

I smiled kahit hindi niya nakikita. I miss you too, beauty..

"Naiintindihan mo ba ako?" She asked again. "I just wanna feel my BEAst again."

Hindi ko na alam saan ko oa huhugutin yung lakas ko para yakapin siya dahil nanghihina na ako sa mga sinasabi niya. Sana kaya ko pa.

"Can you tell her na bumalik na?" She looked at me pero niyakap ako ulit. "Kasi namimiss ko na siya."

Hindi na ako nagsalita, instead I closed my eyes and hugged her tightly. Sana mafeel mo yung love ko sayo. Na walang nagbago kahit napakaduwag ko.

Inihatid ko siya sa upuan niya at pumunta ako sa garden. I needed a fresh air. Gusto ng sumabog ng puso ko dahil kay Maddie.

"Care to share something?"

"Therese!" I happily said and hugged her.

"I saw you dancing with my twinnie."

"It's your sister's fault!" I defended.

She just laughed. "What were you thinking?"

”I suddenly remembered the things that Maddie loves to do."

Trey smiled at me. "She can be an annoying creature."

I laughed. "She'll keep on asking me if she can pluck my eyebrows. She'll kiss me and talk to me like I'm a baby while doing that. Gosh, Maddie was my make up artist back then!"

"I know, she did that to me once!" Trey exclaimed. "Ang sakit niya magpluck."

"She'll bring up the embarrassing moments that I had just to rub it in my face. Like, when she sprained her left ankle during a game, I thought they were substituing me so I went there but no they weren't. Gosh! I almost wanted to be eated by the floor!"

"Oh, I remember that!" Trey said ang laughed. "Instead of helping Maddie you went straight inside the court."

"Because coach Tai was looking at me!" I defended myself. "She'll try to distract me while I'm playing video games, studying, watching a show or a movie, because she's bored. Yup! She even hits my face becaue she's bored."

She laughs. "Oh, gosh. The feels, I missed it. Grabe."

"And one time, she blew up my phone because I replied 5 minutes after."

"Right, Maddie hates late replies."

"She threaten me na she'll beat my ass when she sees me with to other girls." I frowned. "And she forced me to stay up with her even when I'm tired because she doesn't want to be alone."

Trey smiled at me. "Why does she do all of that?" She asked me. "... because you're hers and she doesn't give a fuck."

I smiled and stood up. "She was once mine, Trey."
