Hours passed, and I still couldn’t come to a reason why Richard had kissed me. Something defiantly isn’t right with him. Then I saw the faint shadow of Lucy walking towards her house. I couldn’t see much, as it was quite dark now, but she didn’t look the way I expected. She’s normally so happy when she’s either with or been with Richard. Maybe she’s noticed the change in him to. But I still couldn’t be sure. That’s when Cleotora decided to make an appearance.

“Hi again.” I said miserably to her, laying back down on my bed.

“Hello.” She replied, clearly not feeling any better than me.

“Did you see, what happened?” I asked curiously. Maybe if she’d been watching then she might have spotted something that I’d missed.

“Yeah, the whole thing.” She paused. “So that’s the famous Richard then. He’s different from what I expected.” She laughed.

“In what way?” I asked turning around, suddenly very interested.

“Well he didn’t seem to care that you started kissing him when he’s got a girlfriend. Then he didn’t even pull away. It’s just strange. And there’s just something about him, something that makes me shiver.”

“Hey! He kissed me first, you saw! Plus he was totally flirting with me before. Now that’s something you don’t do when you’re already going out with someone.”

“Yeah, and that I guess.” Then we were both silent.

“And, you know just before he kissed me,” I continued.

“Yeah.”

“Well just before, I saw something in his eyes. Like a spark. Did you see it?”

“No, sorry. “ I then felt disappointed.

We sat in silence again, going over what had happened. As I kept glancing over at Cleotora, she seemed to be a bit on edge. She kept looking around as if she was looking for something, or someone. At first I thought maybe she’d lost something. But then I saw a sudden flash of fear in her sparkling blue eyes. Something has obviously really scared her. But what?

“Are you ok?” I asked eventually. But when she looked at me, I could instantly tell that she didn’t want to discuss it.

“Oh yeah, yeah I’m fine.” She said, very unconvincingly. I was just about to ask her what’s wrong when I suddenly heard something. Cleotora suddenly jumped up then started walking jumpily backwards. I looked out of the window to see that it was just my mum slamming the car door shut. Strange though, she never slams the car door as she said it will damage the car. Something must have put her in a really bad mood.

Then I looked back at Cleotora. Her scared expression still hadn’t changed, but now she seemed to be standing right in the corner of my mirror, almost as if she could fall out. As well as looking extremely scared, she seemed to be shaking a bit as well. “What’s wro….” I was saying to her as she suddenly disappeared. I never knew she could do that, but at least it explains how she can vanish so suddenly.

Then I suddenly heard another loud slam as my mum came into the house. I’ve never seen her this angry before. Soon after that, I heard a small amount of tears coming from the hallway. I wanted to go and ask her what’s wrong, but even I know that when she’s in a mood like this, the slightest thing can set her off. I guess this has been a bad day for everyone.
