Game Begins

khushi moved back and forth in the green lush garden of ajmer palace . Her mind is running in so many direction at once that she can feel the headache coming .

"Has the realization finally strike you That you have made the deal with the devil"

Akash voice halted khushi in her steps ,her eyes found his in a minute . He looked relaxed ,though his eyes say a different stories ,shyam had told her that akash is going through extensive training in scotland he looks tired.

"I don't have time to entertain you akash" khushi saw as akash eyebrow shot up in amusement . What was so amusing about her situation right now . She had no option but to take this road of hell . All her father nobles were siding with her brother as usual .

"Well i don't need entertainment from you . I have plenty of my own." Akash sat on the grass , yawing . His wide black eyes set on hers .

"You won't tell this to arnav right" even khushi didn't knew why she said this words but this thought has been nagging her from last few days . She knew arnav didn't wanted to be part of anything remotely related to seizing crowns . Her mind runs back to that night when arnav had said those words to her ,call her selfish greedy women . She wasn't ,she dont know how to explain that .

"Haaa" akash laughter makes her stomach churn . Her eyes cold glaring at him ,she knew she cant trust him like other members of family who were with her for their own benefits . But akash was a loner , he has no greed nothing that she knows off . He was free bird who can fly in whatever direction he find right or interesting .

He sobered quick and patted the grass besides him gesturing khushi to sit beside him. she did . Her fingers toying with each others in nervous . She can't lose arnav never , he had become an inseparable part of her how? She didn't knew . But she can't lose this last opportunity to prove her worth to get back that is her right or to just mess up with her step mother .

" look at that star" akash said pointing his index finger towards the sky . Khushi's eyes travels to the blue brightening star that seems to brighten the dark clouds alone .

"That's arnav bhai's mother . She is the commander-in-chief of his spies. She saw you ,they saw you and bhai will know everything" akash face dead serious but after a few seconds khushi saw a small smile tug at his lips before he burst into laughter ..

Khushi just shook her head , right he is joking . She is in no mood to laugh .she has so many things to sort so little time ,she can't waste her time with him . She got up to leave but akash words stopped him in track .

"I won't tell him.but that doesn't mean he won't know"

"Right! Thank you" she knew sarcasm was evident in her voice but she don't care . All clear for her she will make sure not a word reaches arnav .

Economic advisors of raizadas have help formulate a rough sketch of plans to impress both british and local nobles .she was quite happy with the plans but still a lot remains to be done . She can't leave everything on them and wait to be bitten back .

She have to play her cards right , akash was right she had made a deal with devil and she has be more caution than ever .

She got down the bull cart that she has taken from delhi station to reach at her destination which is still around 2km away that she has to walk. She bring the veil over her head ,the simple pink suit that she had borrowed from menka ,her maid .
