Arnav looked at the festivities going around him. He stood  at the balcony  of his palace,  keeping his hands stretched down on the wall. He observed the  the battle grounds,  his father was planning something but what he needs to be extra prepared. Just because  he has promised to not take over the throne doesn't mean he has to fall weak to his father's strategies not anymore . He felt anger built inside him. It's must be either related to the inauguration  part or royal entry into the games.  

He looked to his right,  he saw Vijay rathore  standing at end of hall. His eyes worried, arnav knew moment he saw worried look in his mentors eyes that his father has clearly decided something big. Vijay rathore,  his mentor, in his late 40s but still so vigilant as a warrior that he  is. He is commander in chief of  Ajmer army,one of his well wishers.

Arnav nodded sharply at him, indicating that he will handle whatever the situation might. He is not stupid to go into a trap without any planning. He has planned and he would put those plan in action  if required with just snap of a finger. His father was right he is not who he projects to be. But his father’s frequent assassination attacks on him,  has make him to be always vigilant. If his father had played fair and had trusted him enough to let him be,  he would not have required to fight against him. Now, he is only making is far worse for himself.

King Jai,  stood holding royal sword in one hand and one hand on the trophy made of pure gold. His eyes look sinister and his lips curved in a wicked smile.

“Welcome to all our special guest. The Royal Kings and queens, the government  officers of British Queen,  a very warm welcome to Our brave late Randhir Singh Annual games. We organized them in his owner every year.  It's best way to get together and remember  our warrior blood. It's best way to provide the winners with  various  prices made  of pure gold and free food for one year.” he stopped to take a breath and look at the crowd  clapping with so much zeal.

“we always like to make changes to keep things interesting. I am sure everyone have been duly noted about the changes made and new game added. But this year we have made a special decision that will make  everyone's  heart stop with excitement.” he looked at arnav with wickedness in his eyes, than towards  his left where khushi and all the other Princess sat in a balcony covered with thin scarfs. Arnav blood boiled at his father's indication.

“This year annual game will be inaugurated by  newly wedded Prince Arnav and Princess Khushi” he paused mid way as audience cheered loudly.

“by participating in battle of swords in the arena. Nothing will be as interesting  as seeing  Husband and wife fight, isn't it that to in battle of swords.” King Jai raised his sword towards the sky as induction of official start of game. While most remained shocked with his declaration.

He was planning to kill two birds with one stone. The whole kingdom will see how inefficient  arnav is to become a king,  that will stop anyone forming Alliance to help him, even people of kingdom will see how weak elder son is. No one wants a weak king, do they. He smiled wickedly at arnav, who has stood up to go and change into Armour.

He can see defiance, anger and assurance in arnav eyes that his father plan would be a flop. Khushi will never fight him. Jai looked at him with dark gaze as he came forward to speak again.

“i forget to tell all of you the prize of this combat.” everyone looked with bated breath at him.

“The winner will get western part of kingdom consisting of 2000 of acres of land where he or she will rule as the deputy King or queen,  also making him eligible as  an heir in line to the throne  which was earlier rebuked from these two being married into different  caste. But the winner should be just one. Let's the battle begin” King Jai clapped his hand  and left the podium, leaving everyone shocked.
