The result

Khushi has been feeling very happy today . today is the verdict that will change everything .finally years of her hard work will play off. She had done everything in this past month , jai raizada has played good allies till now. His economic and political advisor has mapped an amazing and efficient plan which has impressed both British nobles and her father's subject. Off course she had to take extra precautions especially when her father in law was involved . she had dealt with British nobles directly make sure all the plans made were on paper and with her only . her luck has also turned out great all this time ,thanks to laxmi , her newly formed friend who had been such a big help.

Khushi had been going to meet lord Edward , who governor the north western region of india . her earlier meet with him didn't end up well as of course like many other egoistic male he too wanted reign of Lahore and mewat in hands of male heir . his good relation with her father had turned to be a bigger obstacle than she thought. She was dejected , she knew lord Edward will play a crucial role in choosing the owner of crown .

After two weeks of that meet she had come back to try one more time . she knocked on the door of his house . a servant opened the door , telling her to take a seat while he will bring some refreshment . she looked at spacious interior of indo-western designed home , her eye landed on the big glass mirror in front of her . her eye shifted to the corner of the mirror where she saw a beautiful female come out of the room , breathing heavily she adjusted her dupatta and salwar , combed her hair with her hands . her cheeks red , her lips swollen . she was whitish in colour , her features were sharp and beautiful , her lips holding a smile . she saw her ascending the stairs just few feet away from the door of room. When she meet she gave khushi a sheepish smile and went straight to kitchen. Khushi knew she was a servant and she also know that what she probably would have been engaged in .

Khushi and arnav have not consummated their marriage but they have kissed , in the sweetest and in the passionate way possible . she very well know how a women looked once fully ravished by a man. But who this woman was with. Devi maiya answered her immediately as she saw lord Edward come out of the same room just out of shower. Khushi could not stop but let that devil smile appear on her lips . lord Edward is married to the British daughter of governor of Bengal and has two kids . his wife has gone to England to her mother's with kids to spend this summer holiday. That explains the extra enjoyment that he is enjoying lately.

And khushi knew that she can't let this opportunity go . all's fair in love and war and this is war . khushi have given the smile i-know-your-secret to lord Edward as he sat down . but she was not stupid enough to blackmail straight away and make him an enemy .but she did gave him this indication for sure. She thanked arnav in her mind , even if it was indirect but arnav words has persuaded her to try again and lose hope. Of Course he was talking about my college exam that are next month .

After leaving his house , khushi had waited outside and followed the women to a lonely street . no khushi won't threaten this women , she has another plan. She walked fast and intentionally collided with her . she apologised so did the women in front of her .from the look in her eyes she has recognised her .

"are you ok?" the women asked

"yes but I don't know why I am feeling a little dizzy . can please give me some water." Khushi say keeping her hand on her forehead and looking at women from the corner of her eyes. The women eyes turned worried and she immediately took khushi to her house and gave her some food and water . the women looked at her with her big worried ,khushi felt that if she didn't ease her worries she might start crying.
