Taehyung rushed to the hospital as soon as he heard that his grandfather had a vertigo and had to be taken to the hospital. Fortunately, nothing bad happened to that old man who owned one of the biggest companies in South Korea.
While waiting for his grandfather to be admitted, Taehyung wandered around the hospital drinking a can of cola. That was when he saw Tiffany.
His heart thumped at the sight of that ethereal beautiful woman. Something touched on his chest upon realizing the sad look in her eyes. Was she about to cry? Why? And why was she there?
Tiffany didn't even see Taehyung advance to her. He frowned for a while before sticking the cold can of cola he was holding to that girl's cheek to surprise her.
Tiffany flinched and looked up. She looked so flustered seeing Taehyung there.
"What are you doing here?" Taehyung asked, feeling suspicious. Could it be she was there to meet that good looking doctor from the other day?
"You can't just show up like a ghost and surprise people like that."
Taehyung smirked. "Then what should I do first, calling your name? You didn't even realize I was here. Did you get hurt again? Or did someone hurt you? Did that doctor-"
Tiffany stifled a gasp. "I don't want to talk to you right now. Excuse me. " She began to walk.
Taehyung quickly grabbed her arm. He looked into her eyes, but Tiffany avoided his eyes. "You look so dismal.. Tell me what happened to you, why are you here?"
"It's none of your business, Kim-nim." She tried to walk away from him.
Taehyung grinned, "are you pregnant with my baby? Is that why you came to the hospital?"
Tiffany spontaneously glowered at him, she was too affronted that she couldn't say any words. She brushed off that handsome man's hand that was clutching her arm. "You're delusional."
And before Tiffany had a chance to release herself from his clutch, Taehyung had already pulled her in. She kicked his knee, but Taehyung stood still.
"I can take the pain." He smirked. "As long as it's for you."
"You're the worst bastard I've ever known." She scowled dislike of him. "I really feel sorry for Sooyoung. She thinks her fiance is very sweet and faithful... But... But....."
Taehyung clutched Tiffany's arm. He looked into her eyes seriously. "You don't know the true nature of my relationship with Sooyoung. You don't even want to listen to me, so how can you judge me?"
"I refuse to know. I doubt I will change my mind even if you explain it to me."
"But you need to know!" Taehyung almost shouted.
Tiffany was staggered, "tell me, are you really engaged to Choi Sooyoung?"
Taehyung exhaled, "yes, but.... "
"That's enough for me." She painfully freed herself from Taehyung's clutch.
"Please listen to me at least once!" Taehyung begged Tiffany. There was a sorrow in his eyes.
"RRRRRRRR. RRRRRR." Taehyung's phone vibrated. "Hello," he picked it up. "Arasseo. I'll be right there." He slid his phone back into his pocket and stared at Tiffany.
"Come with me," he said.
Tiffany shook her head. "The last time I came with you, I lost something. Now I can't let it happen again."
