Tiffany prepared a breakfast for Taehyung. She had even made him some lunch. She accompanied him at the dining table.

"Taehyung ah, don't drink too much Cola at SNSD. You'll get dehydrated."

"Okay." Taehyung chewed his vegetable omelette. "You can always take my Cola away later."

Tiffany smiled. "I won't do that,  I'm not going to work today."

Taehyung looked at her. "Why? Are you feeling unwell?" He touched Tiffany's forehead.

Tiffany quickly caught his hand. "I think I'm going to catch a cold. And I don't want you or anyone at SNSD to get infected. So I'm seeing a doctor today."

Taehyung stopped chewing. "Okay then. I am taking a day off too. I'll drive you to the hospital."

"No," Tiffany shook her head. "You must go to work. I can take a bus to the hospital."

Taehyung waved his forefinger. "Naah, I'm driving you to the hospital. I won't let my girlfriend go to see a doctor alone. Nothing is more important for me than you, Fany."

Tiffany glared at her boyfriend. "You must go to work, I refuse to be uselessly spoiled like that."

"But,"

"No but, Tae. I don't want to date a lazy boyfriend. Are you serious about marrying me? What I want is a responsible husband, not a boy who follows his heart impulsively and thinks it's romantic."

Taehyung sighed. "But I'll be worried about you while at work."

Tiffany gently smiled. "I am only catching a cold. What could happen to me?"

But right after Taehyung had left, Tiffany promptly went to see dr. Jo Insung.

"Fany ssi, your cancer has spread around your brain." Jo Insung looked at Tiffany seriously. No one could guess that this beautiful woman was suffering from a malignant blood cancer and that she was dying.

"What option do I have now?" For the first time in his life, Insung caught a glimpse of desperation in that beautiful woman's eyes.

"You have missed the first golden month of treatment." Insung sighed. "I know you've been taking medicine as the long-term use of chemotherapy, but the goal of induction chemo is a remission. This means that leukemia cells are no longer found in bone marrow samples. But a remission is not necessarily a cure, as leukemia cells may still be hiding somewhere in the body. And this is what happened to you." Dr. Jo Insung looked really sorry for failing Tiffany's chance to be cured faster.

"Fany ah, I'm afraid you may have to spend most of your time in the hospital from now on, because serious infections or other complications can occur. And I can't put your life in danger any longer."

Tiffany looked up to see dr. Jo's face. "But I... I can't. Not yet."

"Is it because that spoiled Kim family's heir?" There was some cynicism in Jo Insung's voice. Tiffany had never told Insung about her relationship with Kim Taehyung, but it didn't take a genius to know that this girl was madly in love with that spoiled chaebol. A few days ago, Insung accidentally overheard some nurses were gossiping about Tiffany's allegedly nude pictures on the internet. Upon seeing the pictures himself, Jo Insung was furious. He believed Tiffany wouldn't have done such a despicable thing. Someone must have used that poor girl. Insung believed the pictures were fake even though those pictures almost looked as real as possible. And then there was this particular picture that hurt him the most: the picture of Tiffany and Taehyung kissing. That guy's face was blurred, but Insung had seen Kim Taehyung to know that the man who was enjoying Tiffany's lips was him.

Tiffany gaze at the desk.  She was in a big dilemma. She didn't know how to tell Taehyung about her illness. It would definitely break his heart and Tiffany hated to see Taehyung sad because it would crush her heart as well.

Jo Insung sighed and looked away.

Tiffany was ironing Taehyung's clothes when that handsome man came home.

"Fany ah, I brought you some yakiniku. I know you like it very much. Let's have dinner together!" He grinned so widely while proudly showed that Japanese food in her face.

"How did you know what my favorite food is?" Tiffany took the plastic bag and move its content to some plates.

"I know everything about you, Tiffany Hwang. I even know your clothes size."
Tiffany rolled her eyes.

Taehyung grinned as he pulled out his chair and watched Tiffany in the kitchen. He remembered something. "How is your cold? Getting better or getting worse?"

Tiffany brought two plates to the dining table. "You've asked me that question for seven times now. Don't you have anything else to ask?"

"You don't know how worried I am about you." He stared at his girlfriend seriously. "You might think I'm really childish about this, but I don't want anything bad happen to you. I don't care if it's a cold or flu, I just don't want you to get sick."

Tiffany sat next to Taehyung. She smiled so tenderly. Taehyung could be so childish sometimes, but his innocence was everything that made Tiffany love him even more. Tiffany couldn't describe Kim Taehyung only using one word. That man was so unique, so special. He could be so wise, mature, and manly, but at the same time, he could also act foolishly, childish, and spoiled. And everything about Taehyung really made Tiffany fall deeper and deeper.

"Taehyungie, I've just got a cold... And you've already panicked. What if I got a more serious disease?"

Taehyung was going to reach for his chopsticks when he heard Tiffany. "Ya, don't scare me like that. If anything serious happened to you, what do you think would happen to me? Never say that to me ever again, Tiffany Hwang, if you don't want me to have an instant heart attack."

Tiffany giggled. "You are so funny....."

Taehyung forced his smile. "Eat your yakiniku, Fany. You look getting thinner these days." Taehyung frowned. "Do you still lose your appetite?" He glanced at Tiffany's neck. There was a new bluish there. "Wait, when did I leave a hickey there....?"

Tiffany spontaneously pinched Taehyung's arm.

"Argh!" He shouted. "That hurts!"

"You must defrag your brain, Kim Taehyung! You're getting more and more pervert these days."

Taehyung showed his cute eyesmile. "How can I not be pervert? Your body is a wonderland. My holy temple."

Tiffany scoffed. "If that's the case, maybe I should find somewhere else to live." Tiffany looked a bit gloomy when she remembered that she might have to leave Taehyung for staying at the hospital.

"It's fine with me," Taehyung clamped down some beef and stuffed it into Tiffany's mouth, "I'll move in with you, then."

Tiffany sighed with full mouth.

Taehyung grinned. "Wae? Do you think you can escape me, Tiffany Hwang?"

"Ne." She drank her glass of water.

Taehyung laughed. And he instantly got choked.

"Taehyung ah!" Tiffany looked so worried. She handed him her glass of water.

Taehyung quickly drank the water.

"Why do you always make me so worried?" Tiffany bit her lips.

Taehyung grinned. But when he glanced at Tiffany, his grin disappeared.

"Fany," he frowned, "your nose is bleeding." He wiped the blood off Tiffany's nose with his handkerchief. "Your cold is getting worse. Let's go to the hospital." Taehyung sprang out of his chair.

Tiffany shook her head. "It's all right. It's just a nosebleed." She ran to the bathroom and washed her face. It took several minutes for her to stop the blood from flowing out her nose.

Taehyung secretly waited for Tiffany outside the bathroom door.[]
