Cas hurried back as fast as he could. Aaron wasn't generally one for big romantic gestures, so for him to suggest spending the rest of the day together... Cas was so excited. As soon as he walked inside and saw Aaron he ran to him and hugged him.

"Hi Aaron! How was your morning?" He asked, beaming.

"It was okay. I'm glad to be home, though," Aaron told him.

"I'm glad you're home too. What are we planning on doing tonight?" Cas asked as he laced his finger's through Aaron's.

"I'm not sure. We'll find something to do. So who's Dean? I haven't heard you talk about him before," Aaron said. They both sat down on the couch.

"He's just someone I met. He's really nice," Cas said.

"That's nice," Aaron said. He took a step forward and started to kiss Cas. Cas kissed back, but when Aaron started unbuttoning Cas' shirt, Cas broke the kiss.

"Now? Can't we just sit together, maybe watch something?" He asked.

"Come on Cas, don't be a prude," Aaron said as he pressed kisses to Cas' neck and laughing softly.

"Okay," Cas relented. Aaron resumed unbuttoning Cas' shirt and gently pushed him backwards into the bedroom.

Cas lay on his stomach on the bed, staring at the wall. Aaron had gotten a text from one of his friends a few minutes ago and now he was on his way over to them. He hadn't told Cas what was going on, but he didn't have to, Cas understood. He was a little disappointed, but he would get over it. Cas rolled out of bed, got dressed and grabbed his phone. He walked out into the living room and sat down on the couch. He considered texting Dean, but decided to read instead. He had made his way through several chapters when Aaron called and told Cas he wasn't coming home that night.

"I'll be back tomorrow," he'd said. Cas hadn't been sure what to do with himself and he ended up taking a walk around town. When he got back, he saw a skinny calico cat winding his way through the bushes.

"Kitty?" Cas asked, crouching down. The cat walked over to him and meowed, winding through his legs. Cas picked it up, seeing it didn't have a collar. "Do you not have a home? Well you can share mine, I'm sure Aaron won't mind." Cas carried the cat up to his apartment and gave it a bowl of milk.

"I'll call you... Ginger," Cas said, watching the cat turn a few circles and lay down on the couch. Cas smiled. He liked having someone else around.
