The car ride back to my house was silent. Jaebum was completely focused on the road in front of him and I didn't really know how to start a conversation at the moment. But it actually was a comfortable silence.

Luckily, the little thing which had happened between us this morning hadn't made the things awkward. Our day was really relaxed and we had a lot of fun. The movie had been great and I thought about inviting him to stay overnight.

I already knew that Mark wouldn't be  at home today. He would stay with his dear loverboy and again I was wondering why they just didn't move together. I wouldn't mind another roommate.

"You wanna come in?" I asked him with a small smile which grew much bigger when my best friend nodded. Jaebum normally rarely came in because we both knew that Mina didn't really like us spending time together.

We left his car and walked to my house. I opened the door and let him in. To my luck, Mark had cleaned up before he had left. It wouldn't have been the first time he would have left a complete mess in the kitchen or the living room. But I knew that it wasn't his fault in most cases.

Jaebum made himself a home in the living room while I made my way to the kitchen to get something to drink for me and my friend. I took a bottle of lemonade and two glasses before walking into the other room where Jaebum was already waiting for me.

He was sitting on the sofa, his shoes on the floor, the first three buttons of his shirt opened, his black hair a little bit messy. I quickly got my eyes away from him and put the drinks on the table before I sat down next to him.

The elder was my best friend and we knew each other better than anyone else but I simply couldn't deny that he was one of the most attractive men I had ever seen. It would probably be too much to call it a crush but well, I wouldn't throw him out of my bed.

Jaebum knew that I was interested in men. He had always known, even before I had realized it myself. It wasn't a problem for him and it had never been bad for our friendship. But of course, he didn't know that I thought he was very attractive.

"Mina has chosen a day for the wedding." He said out of the blue and I looked at him in suprise. "Wow, that's great I guess. When?" I asked and tried to hide that I wasn't really happy about the fact he would be married soon.

He deserved it to be happy but Mina was just... I didn't really know. I just had a bad feeling when she was around. And besides, she disliked me too and tried the best she could to separate me and Jaebum.

"In two months." He told me and sighed. Well, that was closer that I expected and he didn't seem really happy about it. "I thought you would take your time." I mumbled more to myself.

Jaebum looked up to me. "That's what I thought, too. I didn't know it would be so soon. But it is how it is." A little smile formed on his lips but I knew it was fake. I knew things went too fast for him.

"If you're not ready, you should tell her. She loves you so I'm sure she'll accept your decision." I put my hand on his shoulder and gave him a smile. The elder looked at me and smiled back. "Thank you JaeJae."

"Anytime for you." I answered. Jaebum slung his arms around my waist and pulled me in for a tight hug. I hugged him back, secretly enjoying his masculine smell and his warm arms around my body.

Both of us slowly pulled away and silence filled the room. We just sat there, right next to each other, close enough that our knees were touching. I bit on my bottom lip, feeling a weird tension between us.

I didn't really know where it came from but I wouldn't complain since this tension was quite comfortable. I wasn't sure if he could feel it too but the look in his eyes told me that there was something he was thinking about.

His hands were still laying on my waist as I slowly moved mine from his shoulders up to his neck. My head was empty and I didn't even know what got into me when I moved closer and pressed my lips onto his.
