My Best Man || 2jae

It was a wonderful and sunny Saturday morning and I would give everything to spend this day somewhere outside, maybe the park or at a lake and enjoy the sun and its heat.

But I had other plans today. Mina had made an appointment in some expensive and super high-class men clothing store where she had already chosen my suit for the wedding and today I should try it on.

Luckily, my best friend was with me today. I actually wanted to ask Jackson to come with me since Youngjae had already done so much but my neighbour was busy again and so the brunette had sacrificed himself and joined me today.

And so we were more or less happily entering the store where a grey-haired man greeted us with a friendly smile. I greeted back and asked him for the suit Mina had chosen. The man went to get it.

"I feel like the suits in this shop here cost more than I earn in a year." Youngjae mumbled more to himself but I heard it and had to chuckle. The younger had never liked this kind of expensive stuff.

In this case, I could only agree with him. I had the money to buy a lot of super expensive and chic stuff but I actually disliked it, too. My business was doing great but I still was the normal guy next door.

My family had always had more money because my father was very successful in his job and since I was an only child I had gotten everything I wanted. But that had never influenced my personality.

I had so many friends like Youngjae and Jackson who were by my side and made sure that I didn't get arrogant because of the money I was earning and the things I could buy with it. I was very thankful to have them.

The shop assistant came back and gestured us to follow him so I could try on my suit. He walked through the big shop and guided us to a separated room. "So, you can try on the suit here.  Feel free to ask me if you need anything." He said and bowed lightly.

I nodded and disappeared behind a red curtain. Youngjae waited in front of it. I started to undress myself before I put on the very expensive looking suit that Mina had picked for the wedding.

I looked at my reflection, raising my eyebrows in scepticism. The suit fitted me perfectly but I still wasn't really satisfied with my appearance. Youngjae looked at me, saying something to the shop assistant.

The middle-aged man nodded and disappeared in the shop. I looked over to my best friend who seemed to be thinking. "I don't know why but I feel like this doesn't fit you." He walked over and sighed.

"I mean it fits your body very good but... you know... it's just not you." He softly pushed me into the changing room and opened my shirt. "Well, Mina picked it for me because it fits her dress." I explained "my" choice.

The younger looked at me and kept on undressing me. "Do you think I care what she did? This doesn't fit you, so you better get out of it." He said with a firm voice and left the changing room so I could get out of my pants.

"I've already sent the shop assistant to get you something else. Something less serious and more casual but still chic. I want you to look great on your wedding." The brunette explained and made me smile.

The shop assistant gave me the suit Youngjae had chosen and I quickly started to put it on. First the black pants, followed by a bright white shirt with a dark blue bow tie and a black jacket.

I looked at myself again and felt completely satisfied with the first sight. The younger's choice was great and he knew exactly what fitted me best and I knew that this was the perfect suit for my big day.

I left the changing room for the second time today and showed myself to Youngjae and the shop assistant. Both of them seemed to be really satisfied with my best man's choice and so was I.

"I know your dearest fiancee has picked another one but this here definitely looks better and it suits you so great. We're definitely going to buy it." The brown-haired said with his brightest smile.

Youngjae was a perfect best friend and a great best man. Without him I would probably just obey to Mina's wishes but my JaeJae did his best to make the wedding perfect for me and I was happy about that although I know that Mina would be very angry.
