With every day which was passing, the big day of Jaebum's wedding came closer. There were still some weeks to go but I felt like the time was passing too fast. Every single minute felt too short.

JB and I didn't see each other a lot because he was extremely busy with the last preparations. But I understood that he wanted to spend as much time as possible to be ready for the best day of his life.

Although I didn't like to admit it, I had to say that I was very unhappy about his big day coming closer with every minute passing. As his best friend, I should be happy for him but unluckily, I wasn't.

I had started to work more and longer. Mark was worried about me but I had told him that I was alright and that I had just missed a lot of work because of helping Jaebum which I was doing now.

Mark didn't believe me and I knew that. He was at home more often and didn't stay wherever he had been during the last time that often. I still didn't know where had been because he still kept it a secret.

My first theory was that he had another guy. I actually didn't believe that Mark would hit of with another man. He was in a relationship and normally not the type for cheating but I couldn't find another explanation.

Anyway, back to me. I hadn't had the nuts to call Jaebum during the last days and he hadn't called me either. But I knew he had better things to do than calling me for some small talk while he needed to work.

He would call me if he really needed my help with the wedding. For now, I would just have to wait. I had already thought about calling some of my other friends to hang out but I hadn't done yet.

Yugyeom and BamBam belonged to my closest friends but they were dating so I wasn't really sure if I should call them because I actually didn't feel like being the third wheel when we met up.

My other option was Jinyoung, a school friend of Mark who was also my friend since I had met him. He was pretty nice and if he would come over Mark could join us if he liked to. We would see.

I sat down in the living room and took Coco on my lap. She made herself comfortable while I softly stroked over her head. My eyes wandered to my phone again and I felt the wish to call Jaebum.

But what should say? I couldn't just come up and tell him that I had missed him like crazy and needed to hear his husky voice and how he said my name or laughed when I got euphoric about something.

God, it seemed like he had completely taken over my mind. Not that I loved him... it was just that we had spent so much time together when we were younger and also during the last weeks and now we hadn't seen or spoken each other for some time.

I quickly shook my head and grabbed my phone from the table. What did I worry about? JB was my best friend and I had no reason to be scared to call him although I had no reason to. He wouldn't judge me.

It didn't take long until I could hear his familiar dark voice. "Hey Youngjae. Is everything alright?" He asked obviously worried that something happened because I had called him.

"Yes, everything is good. I just wanted to say hello and ask how you are." I leaned back and closed my eyes for a moment. "I'm ok, just tired." I could hear him yawning and felt worried. He needed sleep.

"You should go to bed then, Jaebum." I said softly, making him chuckle. One of my favourite sounds. "Don't worry about me. There's still some stuff to do." He said and sighed a bit and decided to help him.

"You go to bed and I'm going to do your stuff. I know you're working a lot to get some days off for the honeymoon. Please go and sleep. I take care of everything." I smiled although he couldn't see it.

The older chuckled again. "You don't have to. It's my business." He mumbled with a tired voice and I decided that I had to do something else to get him to do what I wanted him to do.

If he didn't sleep at home I would try something different to get my friend to bed. "Then take a break. You could come over and we watch movies." I suggested and hoped he would agree to my idea.

"Sounds good. I'm coming." He said and I ended the call. I got up and walked into my bedroom to prepare everything what would happen later. I would get Jaebum to bed and make him sleep.
