Chapter 19: Unpredictable

Kyla pov
I walked in the hospital feeling Anxious, worried and exhausted. Terrence followed behind me trying to get me to calm down. I bumped into a little girl on the way to my seat. "Sorry, I didn't see you" I said and squatted down in front of her.
"Hey, why is my mom crying?"She asked me.
"Where is she?" I asked her.
"All the way in the back and they're people all around her" she said and frowned.
"What is her name?" I asked her.
"India but I call her mommy ". The little girl said.
I showed her a picture on my phone and said "is this your mommy?".
"Yes" she said.
I looked behind me and Terrence was no longer behind me. People was looking at me like I was crazy. Juliya grabbed me and led me to a seat. I sat down beside her and stared at the little girl from a distance then she disappeared like my mom does when she visits me.
"Has aunt India ever had a miscarriage?" I asked Juliya.
"Yeah, we all know about that".Juliya hugged me.
"I didn't know that". I hugged her back and shook my head.

India pov
I walked back and fourth crying. All of this is too much to deal with .My husband Madison sat beside me. I felt so weak at the moment. I fell into Madison arms and he held me.
"She is going to be okay, India ". He rubbed my back.
"I want her to wake up " I said.
Madison lifted my chin up and pecked my lips. "We raised a fighter and right now she is fighting ". He pecked my lips again.
"We can't lose hope, India". 

I stood up and walked away from him. I was in desperate need of something to eat. I passed a few snack machines and then I bumped into someone. "Hey". I looked up and noticed I bumped into Brian (kid ink).
He smiled at me and then he hugged me.
"So you was just going to pass your brother?" He asked me and pushed me playfully.
"Nah, I didn't see you". I looked pass him and saw paparazzi.
"The dogs are behind you". I joked and pointed at the paparazzi behind him.
"Fuck them so when are you going to tell people about our child we lost?" Brian(kid ink) said.
My jaw dropped.

Juliya pov
"Wait, you're trying to tell me the baby is still alive?" I asked the doctor. The doctor just informed me that the baby is still living and growing inside Naomi.
"Yes but things could change". The doctor responded and nodded his head.
"That's good news but this is just impossible ". I pushed the doctor away and frowned. "People just don't bleed like that".
"Do you believe in god?" The doctor asked me and smiled.
"Yes but-" I started to say but I cut myself off when I heard him chuckling.
"Pray for your friend". The doctor smiled at me. "God can do all but fail".
"Amen". I smiled at the doctor.
He kissed my hand before walking away.

"What was that?" Kyla whispered tapping me on the shoulder.
"Hey, I don't know what you're taking about". I laughed and spun in a circle. "He cute as fuck tho!".
"Big facts, sus ". Kyla gave me a high five and we both laughed. "Sideline dot com, Hoe".

"He told me the baby is still alive ". I informed Kyla about what me and the doctor were talking about.
"God is good". Kyla clapped her hands.
"We need to go to church ". I crossed my arms and nodded my head.
"School tomorrow so-" Kyla started to talk but she was cut off by Terrence who decided to kiss her.
"Eww". I pushed them playfully and made a disgusted face.

I walked away from them and bumped into Anthony. He looked so sad. I watched tears slide down his cheeks and he put on a fake smile when he seen me but I knew he was hurting. I sat beside Anthony and smiled at him. "The baby is alive " I said to Anthony. "That's good news but I want my girl back " He extended his arms and hugged me. "All of this is just unpredictable " I said and then I gave Anthony a kiss on the cheek.

We sat there talking about memories, goals and problems. We have more in common than we actually thought. I want to be a nurse and he wants to be a daughter. I want 4 kids and he wants 4 kids. I don't like the color Orange and he don't like the color orange. I love fruit and he loves fruit. This is my brother and he will always be my brother. Blood couldn't make me and Anthony any closer right now.

Brian(kid ink) POV:
"You though I didn't know about the baby?" I asked India.
"Yeah, how did you know?" She asked me.
"I noticed you growing a little and when I get drunk I remember everything ". I sat down in a chair and patted the seat next to me.
"Why didn't you say something?" She asked me before sitting down beside me.
I leaned forward and said "I wanted to see how long you could keep something that big a secret "Till the day I die ". She said harshly and stood up.
I grabbed her hand before she could walk away. " You're selfish and you're a brat".
"How selfish was I when I let you eat me out?" She asked me.
She walked away and left me speechless.

Inspiration POV
"I'm not religious so I'm going to just say that this is a miracle ". I said when Kyla kept referring to the baby being alive a blessing from God.
"Hey, I don't give a fuck". Kyla shrugged and stood up. "The baby is surviving and that's all that matters ".
"You're right, You're always right ". I winked at her. I have had a crush on Kyla for a good minute now but I know she don't like me like that therefore I'm not going to say anything.

Kyla gave me a disgusted look and rolled her eyes.

"Hey, can we see her now?" Juliya asked the doctor that was flirting with her not too long from now.

"Yeah, if you want to but I wanted to talk to you about something ". He said to Juliya. kyla and I both looked at them.
I was amused.

Inspiration cleared her throat. "Can you introduce us?" I asked Juliya.

"This is Dr. Carter ". Juliya said. "That's Inspiration ( she pointed at me) and that's my baby ,Kyla (she pointed at me)".

"Nice to meet you, Dr.Carter". Kyla and I said in a flirtatious way.

"The feeling is mutual". He smiled at us and then looked back at Juliya.

I started giggling uncontrollably and Juliya hit me. She was trying to get me to shut up but I couldn't stop giggling. "The feeling is mutual ". I said trying to sound like him but I failed.

The doctor walked away chuckling. I guess we were making him laugh.

"You two are so embarrassing ".
