" can I please go ?" mari asked her parents, she grasped her phone in one hand as she looked at them with wide eyes. " and go where exactly ?" her father asked, his eyes staring down at her. mari unlocked her phone, heading to their group chat as she enlarged the image. " there's a sleepover soon and I haven't been to any of them, can you please allow me this once ?" mari practically begged as she looked at her mom who simply chuckled. " jongri, just give it to her this once. after all she's fourteen, you might as well let her. " her mother said looking at her father with knowing eyes. mari's smile widened, she was definitely going to the sleepover now, especially since her mother was backing her up. her father looked at the two of them and sighed, he held the bridge of his nose before saying " fine, you can go. but first thing in the morning be ready, I'll be picking you up." he said. mari practically jumped in joy, " thank you so much dad !! " she said before hugging him tightly. she couldn't wait for the night to come.
