I got dressed in a Black tank top with a flannel shirt unbuttoned to cover my arms considering it was colder out than usual. I also put on a pair of jeans and a pair of boots. I came downstairs and Sammie was wearing a light pink long sleeve shirt and a light pair of jeans and some ugg boots that were tan.

A few minutes later, Axel and Nolan were at the door. I could not help but notice that Sammie was eyeing Nolan in a very lovey-Dovey matter. "So, are you ready to go?" I nodded and Sammie kept looking at Nolan while Nolan kept looking at Sammie when they said "yes."

The first place we went to was the aracade which was over by a couple more shops in the plaza. Sammie and Nolan went off to play the ski ball and claw machines while I went off to play the trivia game and the other racing games. I found interest in this wheel which would give you 1,000 tickets if you hit the jackpot.

I heard Axel come up behind me. "You are really good at that game." "Thanks." I smiled and returned to trying to win the jackpot. "Sammie and Nolan wanted us to combine tickets with them. Do you want to?" I took a minute to think. "Sure, why not?" By the time we spent all our points on the aracade and combined tickets, we had around 10,300.

We had enough to agree on a couple of different items each. Sammie got a huge stuffed animal and a candy rope. Nolan got a head scratcher and a couple of other activities. Axel got a lamp and some sort of bow and arrow set. I went basic and got a minecraft poster and a Five Nights At Freddy's poster.

It was almost dark out when we got out of the aracade Sammie and I were dropped off at my house. "I honestly had a fun time tonight. Thanks for the amazing time. I will see you tomorrow at school." We talked a little and soon Sammie went home and I entered the house.

I called my mom when I realized she was not at home. "Hey sweetheart how are you doing?" "Good. I thought you would be home by now." I heard my mom sigh. "Listen Ambrie darling. I can not afford to take care of both of us. I love you my darling but I can't."

I felt tears rushing to my face. I couldn't believe that my own mom was abandoning me! Once my mom hung up, I started bawling my eyes out. I had no idea what to do so I called Sammie to tell her the news.

"Hey Ambrie, why are you calling so late at night?" I was still sobbing when I tried talking. "M-my m-m-mom abandoned me a-and c-c-c-an't take care of m-me any-m-more!" I heard Sammie gasp. "Oh Ambrie, I am so sorry. You are welcome to stay at my house if you want. let me ask my mom."

She left the phone for a minute but then returned. "My mom said it is ok if you stay with us. You have no where to go. I am your friend and I am not going to abandon you. Just pack up your clothes in a suitcase and we will pick you up. we have an extra room you can stay in."

"T-thank you Sammie. I wish I could repay you somehow." Sammie laughed a little. "You do not need to repay me. You have already done so much to help me and this is the least I can do." That brought tears to my eyes once again.

Sammie and her Mom were over to pick me and my belongings up around 7:00. I looked back at the house I was leaving behind and only thought of how my family left me behind.

On Monday, Sammie and I agreed to not tell anyone about my mom leaving me. Axel and Nolan were waiting outside the school for us like usual. We did not talk long with them because we were already late for school. I was gathering my things for first period when Brittney came up to me.

"Well, looks like Ambrie Bambi still has no date to the dance. One of the only people that will never get a date, and the dance is this Friday." Brittney laughed along with her posse. Anger surged up inside me and I could not hold it back. "You bitch! Brittney, you are just too dumb to realize that you will never be smart and you will always be known as the bitch that does not give a fuck about anything."

Brittney scoffed and said, "Whatever. But for your information, you will always be known as the schools outcast." I rolled my eyes and went to class.

Once again at lunch, it was pretty interesting to an extent. Sammie sat next to me at lunch instead of sitting next to Nolan. Sammie decided it was best I have her by my side for a few days after losing both my mom and dad. I felt a bit bad keeping both Nolan and Axel in the dark about my situation even since they are 2 of my best friends.

Nolan kept looking at Sammie with concerned eyes trying to figure out why Sammie and I were acting different. I looked around the cafeteria to see if anyone was looking at me. I saw no one looking at me but I did see Brittney flirting with Axel. All of a sudden I felt a sharp pain hit me.

"Am I jealous of Brittney and Axel?! What the hell is wrong with me?!" Sammie must have noticed me staring because she said, "Oooohhh is someone jealous?" I looked at her with wide eyes "Pffff I am not jealous! I have never been jealous at all!"

I gathered my things and went back towards my locker and tried to gather my thoughts. Luckily, no one was around to stop me when I stayed by my locker. Luckily the day was almost over.
