I returned to school the next day. Sammie was the one to fully win me over.
She told me that she had huge news at school and that she wanted to show me.
I told Axel that I was going to school and I was going to see if I could see him later. He replied sure with a smiley face and a winky face even though I would still visit him.
Sammie was practically skipping to school in such a happy matter. Sammie was grinning from ear to ear.
"What are you so exited about Sammie?"
She hummed. "Nothing much. You will see when we get to school."
I sighed as she pulled me into the school. She then pointed to a sign on the school news board.

To all students,
The school will be hosting the last dance of the year. The prom will be hosted as a Valentine's Day dance and not an actual dance itself due to budget. Remember, All seniors and Juniors can attend.A freshman and a Sophmore can only come if asked by an upper grade student.Courtesy of the Principal and Vice Principal
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I sighed. "I know I have Axel as my boyfriend now and he would possibly attend the dance if he feels better but, It still makes no sence to me why they have these dances."
Sammie laughed. "Being a downer like usual. I have a little story to tell you at lunch today Ambrie."
I shrugged. "Why not tell me now?"
I took in a sharp breath between her teeth. "People could be listening in and the story is way to long for right now."
I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Ok. Tell me at lunch then."
She squealed as we headed off to class.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sammie was already at lunch waiting. "Ready for the story?"I sighed. "ready as I will ever be."
The smiled. "I knew you guys would be a perfect math and I knew you liked him before you told me and I knew he liked you."
I looked from side to side. "I know you said I liked him and I denied it but how did you know I did?"
She shrugged. "When I saw you look at Axel for the Halloween dance, you had this look in your eyes that I had never seen. It was I believe a flash of happiness and security. It was so fast though that It was hard to catch. I almost missed it."
I rolled my eyes. "I could have been happy to be with a friend and though of him as a good friend."
Sammie groaned. "Let me continue!"
I put my hands up in defense. "Ok ok geez."
"Thank you. Anyways, I then realized that you always have this guard when around Nolan or Brayden or any other person when you are not socially awkward around people. The only person you let your guard down around is me."
I mumbled "True true."
Sammie glared at me. "Anyways, I looked at Axel too and realized he had the same look that you did in his eyes minus the security part. Then later that day he told me he wanted to keep it a secret from you that he liked you so it would not ruin your friendship with him."
I laughed a little. "And I was that clueless the whole time?"
She smiled. "Yep. I am good at secrets."
I rolled my eyes. "Continue."
Sammie cintinued. "By the time the dance rolled around, He wanted to start expressing feelings for you by asking you out on a date which was to the dance. So I gave him the idea to put down clues. Skip forward to the DC trip, Axel was planning on telling you then but decided against it due to... reasons."
I raised an eyebrow. "What reasons would those be?"
She sighed. "I was dating Nolan and he did not want the group to be split in half due to dating even though we will most likely split up in college."
I clenched my teeth. "Thank you for that reminder." I took a deep breath, "Continue."
She continued. "We came back and went to that haunted house correct?"
I recalled the memory. "Yeah."
She nodded. "Axel did not hesitate in the slightest when you fell. I was going to leave and ditch the place with Nolan and leave you but Axel made me and Nolan stay so we could find a way down there to save you. He did not even hesitate to save you."
I smiled. "I remember that. He was there to save me from that man."
Sammie nodded her head. "Exactly! Afterwards, I realized that he went and could have died just to save you. You then told me you had a crush on him correct?"
I smiled. "Yeah."
"She rolled her eyes. "Yeah. We went to that hang out with Axel and his other friends where I met Brayden and you both mentioned you had a crush. We then layed that putrid spin the bottle game. When you and Axel had to kiss, It was not that quick like the others, It was more of a lingering one that meant you both loved each other."
I looked to the left. "Yeah, That is also the day you made Nolan go crazy."
Sammie sighed. "Yes yes I know. He also used you to get to me. So I am skipping to that part of our school year."
I groaned. ""Please no. I hated that."
She sighed. "It is a part of the story now shut up."
I shut my mouth.
Sammie continued. "Axel was talking to me actually when you called and her heheard your phone drop and you whimpering in pain and in tears, He rushed over to the school before I could blink my eyes. I realized that you guys were meant for each other at that moment."
I looked at her. "Is the story done?"
Sammie smiled. "Yes my story is complete."
I Smirked. "So you knew that I liked Axel and I forever will?"
She smiled. "Yep!"
I laughed. "You are crazy. I have figured that out now and confirmed it."
Sammie sighed. "Just you wait, I bet my prediction is correct and you will end up with him."
I rolled my eyes and went to class leaving Sammie at the table and me wondering "Will I need up with Axel in the future?"
