School was way more interesting than pretty much any other day. There was a fight and a huge break-up in the main hallway.

The fight started between supporters of the ship Nolan and Sammie and the ship Brayden and Sammie. I was talking to Sammie when we heard the yelling.

We followed the noise and saw two girls being sophomores fighting verbally and physically.

"Nolan and Sammie make a way better couple than Brayden would with her!" The girl then slapped the other across the which drew blood.

The girl retaliated. "Brayden is totally hot and Sammie is the cutest senior! They are meant for eachother!"

Sammie turned red in the face and stepped in before the fight could get any worse.

"Alright sophomores! I know you guys are in a disagreement but I am not dating either one and I am only friends with both. Now stop arguing about who I would be better with!"

Both of the sophomores backed up and looked at Sammie in awe. "Oh my god. It is actually Sammie. The other girls eyes lit up.

"Is it true you fell in love with Brayden and you are dating him?" I laughed when the color drained from Sammie's face. "Of course not. Brayden and I are just friends and Nolan is a jackass known around my friends and I."

Both of the sophomores laughed and noticed me standing there waiting. "Oh is that one of your friends Sammie?" Sammie looked at me.

"That is my best friend Ambrie. Now you guys scram before I catch you fighting again."

Both of the girls ran off and I could see amusement or fear in their eyes. Sammie and I both continued our conversation about what we would wear to the dance later. Sammie was a bit pissed when she heard Nolan and Brittney were going to be at the dance.

I could see where Sammie was coming from when she was pissed because we sometimes wanted to go somewhere different without Brittney or Nolan there to bother anyone. Sammie seemed exited though that Brayden was going and asked to be her partner to the dance.

They never used the term "Date" to the dance because they were not dating nor were they just friends. But my feeling in my bones said that they would be soon.

Lunch was ok. The cafeteria was selling frozen yogurt and milkshakes. Sammie and I both decided to get one.

Sammie got a strawberry yogurt with chocolate frozen yogurt. I got a chocolate milkshake with vanilla frozen yogurt. It was my favorite to get if I was at any restaurant or fast food place not including Taco Bell.

Sammie and I were sitting alone at the table for the majority of lunch discussing what we could wear because Axel and Brayden had to go to a Football meet of some sort.

"Ambrie, what are you going to wear to the dance?" Sammie asked me. I shrugged. "Probably a white dress with a cape. What about you?" Sammie had a huge grin. "Probably a red dress with a white short cape."

We continued talking about the dance when with about 5 minuted left of lunch, Axel and Brayden showed up.

"We just got news that Nolan and Brittney were going to the dance too." Sammie groaned. "Why when we want to go anywhere, he has to show up."

Axel thought for a minute. "Nolan and Brittney were not there when we saw the lights downtown." Sammie shrugged as to say touché.

We were all walking back to class from lunch when Nolan showed up. "Hello Ambrie, Brayden, and Axel." He then nodded at Sammie. "Hello m'lady." Sammie rolled her eyes and walked ahead.

Nolan looked at me. "I break up with her an now she treats me like a nobody. Why is that?" I shrugged. "Maybe because you only wanted her for one reason?" Nolan looked taken aback. "I did like her! You can not blame me for breaking up with her just because she did not like the same things as me!"

Axel decided to join the conversation. "It was pretty low of you for breaking up with her just because you wanted to do it with her and she refused." I saw him seem ashamed.

"Now thinking about it, I really want her back as my girlfriend. Sammie was wonderful and kind and this time I will not be a complete jerk."

I fake thought. "Didn't you say that last time when you made out with Brittney at that party?" He shrugged. Axel then added on. "Sammie likes Brayden now I am pretty sure. He is not a douche and she has left you behind man."

Nolan looked hurt. "I no longer like Brittney. I miss Sammie a lot. That is why Brittney and I are going to the dance tonight. I want to be closer to Sammie."

I now rolled my eyes. "I know Sammie like the back of my hand. Once she moves on, she moves on and never looks back."

Nolan was now depressed. "So she no longer likes me?"

I used my extensive knowledge. "From what I know, She liked Brayden more than she did you. If I did not know any better, the first time you guys broke up, She never had feelings for you but she just did not want to be lonely. Sammie has this look in her eyes when she looks at Brayden. As I noticed, it a look that makes me believe she is happy with him. I never saw this look when she was with you."

Nolan was more depressed than ever. Axel looked at him. "Yeah, I think she is over you man, she never talks about you or even mentions you. Even though these are the hard truth, I think you are stuck with Brittney, and you will not ditch her like those other guys did."

Nolan sighed. "I do not want to be stuck with Brittney. She is self-absorbed and complains about anything and everything. She is literally how you described her. I wanna be with Sammie, not Brittney."

I scoffed. "Well now you are committed because you're a future father to a child."

I then walked off to get to class on time and avoid the very awkward conversation that would most likely start up about Brittney.
