I got back from florida yesterday. I wish I was still there. Here in Rhide Islamd, all it has been doing is raining. I hate rain. Since it's raining I can't go outside. I love being outside! Right now, I'm looking out the window at the rain splashing into the pool. Daddy is at work today. Mommy has to work tomorrow. Mommy told me that I get to have a birthday party today! Apparently, lots of people are supposed to be coming. Like grandma, grandpa, uncle Austin, some of mommys friends, Ashley, and her family. I'm kind of excited. I just wish it wasn't raining. Mommy and I just got back from pickin up my cake. It's really pretty and has princesses on it! I can't wait to see Ash today. I also have gymnastics tomorrow so I'll get to see her again! Daddy told me yesterday that I have one more surprise for today. He said it's a present. I have no idea what it could be. I hear mommy playing her guitar in the music room. I got up and went to stand by the door. I love listening to mommy sing!
"Clear blue water, high tides came and brought you in. And I could go on and on. On and on and I will."
I love that song! It's called This Love. It's off of 1989. My favorite song off of 1989 is probably Wildest Dreams. I heard the front door open and ran over.
"Daddy!!" I yelled.
"Addie!"
Daddy picked me up and slimmed me around.
"Are you ready for your party tonight?"
I nodded.
Daddy put me down, then went upstairs.
"Is daddy home?" Mommy yelled from the music room.
"Yeah!" I replied.
I skipped back over to the window.
"Meredith!"
Meredith is in my spot. Oh well.
"Olivia!" I called. "Olivia! Dibbles!"
I found her on the couch.
"Let's go play dress up!"
I carried Olivia up to my room and shut the door so she can't run out. I set her down and got out my dress up clothes. Should I put on my Bell or Elsa dress? I'll wear my Bell dress! I put it on.
"What do you want to wear Olivia?" I asked.
She jumped onto my bed and laid down.
"How about a horn? You can be a unicorn!"I carefully strapped the horn onto her.
I giggled.
Daddy opened my door
"What are you doing in here?" He asked.
"Me and dibbles are playing dress up!"
I handed daddy a crown and he put it on his head. Then I heard the doorbell.
"I guess it's time for the party!" Daddy said.
He handed me the crown and I took the horn off of Olivia. I took my dress off and put it back where it goes. Me and daddy went downstairs to see who's here.
"Grandma! Grandpa!" I yelled.
I gave each of them a hug. The doorbell rang again and I opened it. Oh my gosh!
I screamed.
"Selena Gomez! Me and my old mommy love your music!"
"Awe! Thank you!"
She picked me up.
"You are so cute!"
I smiled and she set me down. After about an hour, everyone got here. There's grandma, grandpa, uncle Austin, Selena, Abigail, cara, karlie, lord, zendaya, ed, ash, her brother and parents.
"Time for presents!" Daddy said.
I got so many things!
"Are you ready for your last present?" Mommy asked.
I nodded.
Daddy came in with a box.
"Be careful with this."
He sat it on the floor in front of me. It's not wrapped so I just opened the lid. I looked inside to see a real live kitten sleeping in it!I started to cry.
"Do you like it?" Mommy asked.
"Yeah!" I replied.
Daddy took it out of the box.
"It's a girl. You get to name her. "
It is so small! She's gray and has a few small white patches that remind me of sprinkles.
"Her name is sprinkles!" I said.
Mommy and daddy looked at each other. She's sitting in my lap. I started to pet her. Ash sat by me in the floor.
"Can I hold her?" She asked.
"Sure!"
I carefully picked her up and set her down in Ashs lap.
"She's so fluffy I'm gonna die!" I whispered.
Everybody laughed. This has to be the best birthday ever! I went around and hugged everybody. Today has been absolutely amazing! Well, besides all the rain.
