Harry and I walked hand in hand down the street, which was darker because the sun had set an hour prior.
"I like holding your hands," I said softly and he smirks down on me.
"My rings don't bother you?" He asked in a skeptical tone. I shook my head.
"I like them a lot actually," I admitted and he pulled my hand up and kissed it softly.
I smiled and he let our hands go back down. "So what music did you listen to anyways?" He asked after a moment of silence.
"Back in Ohio?"
"Yeah."
"I only had two songs allowed on my iPod," I admitted and his jaw dropped
"Two!?" he gasped and I couldn't stop laughing. He probably had 50 million. "I have to know which ones."
I smiled and swim our hands back and forth. "This old classical song my dad used to love and sweet caroline," I said and I looked up at him.
He was already looking at me, grinning. "I like it," he said and I nodded.
"I'm so glad you approve," I said and nudged him. He smiled and laughed a little.
"I don't know if I could choose only two songs," he admitted and I shrugged.
"Just pick the first two that come to mind. They obviously have some meaning if they come out first."
He looked interested by this. "So sweet Caroline?"
"I was named after that song," I said and I felt confident saying that. "Reminds me of my parents."
He smoked and squeezed my hand. "Excellent reasoning. And the other?" He asked and I couldn't help the smile from stretching across my face.
"Reminds me of home," I said and he burst into laughter.
"I think everyone can relate," he said and I smiled, leaning against him slightly.
I loved talking to him.
We walked for probably 20 minutes when I looked over at Harry, his eyes were focused hard on the ground as we walked, but when my eyes tried to meet his, he looked up and smiled.
"Where are we going?" I asked through a small laugh and he pointed towards a house we were coming up on.
"This is the coolest place ever," he said and then nodded to himself. "You'll see."
Sure enough I did see. It was old, and Harry had to kick open the door.
"When I was younger and we would come to the US, we lived here," he explained as he led me through the huge arch in the living room.
It was clearly abandoned and it was run down like no tomorrow. "It's really big," I said and he nodded, turning his body towards me.
I tensed up for a moment, but then again, it's only Harry so I calmed down. "Caroline I'm sorry everything with Fay has been," I shook my head and he stopped talking. I really didn't want to hear about Fay.
I looked up and smiled a little and he pushed a piece of hair behind my ear. "Your hair looks pretty today," he said softly into my ear as he pulled me close and I inhaled his scent.
"Thank you," I said softly as he started to kiss my neck.
We stood there kissing and holding each other when I felt a rush of adrenaline through my bones. Here I was, in a beautiful old home, with the boy I was.. In love with.
"Harry," I whispered in his ear and he pulled back, his emerald eyes burning.
"Caroline I want to make love to you," he started and I but my lip, shaking my head.
"I want to," I said and his wild eyes became concerned.
"I don't want to hurt you," he started but I shook my head. I knew he was referring to my virginity.
"Harry," I said and then before I knew it I was already lifting his hoodie over my head.
We both undressed to where I was only in a bra and underwear, and he was in his Calvin Klein boxers.
He stood there for a second, in deep thought but then he closed the space between us.
"Things I can," he whispered in my ear and I giggled a little, I admired how he was trying to lighten the mood.
"Things I cant," I whispered and he smiled as we kissed.
After that, the past 2 weeks came flooding back, and I was horrified.
