Harry's POV:

As I drove I drank a lot of 5 hour energies and I had a few red bulls. I got used to staying up for long hours when I was on tour, so this was nothing much. Especially with her in the backseat, I couldn't even grasp the way she made me feel. Some weird magnetic force.

I stopped for gas at about 3 in the morning and I carefully got out to pump it. I was standing outside whistling when I heard a bunch of girls giggling.

Now I haven't been around in almost half a year, but I could never be too careful. I looked the other way and tapped my foot quickly, hoping this would hurry along.

Those girls were older than I thought. They stumbled into the little store and that was it. I looked through the car window and smiled at Jill- Caroline all curled up.

I knew her whole story now, and I wanted to beat those people every inch of their life but I knew it wasn't going to happen. He step father was an obnoxious government man, and I didn't want him around the either of us.

I finished pumping and I slid one of the credit cards I had set on a different name of my deceased uncle. It worked great so far.

I got back into the car and I heard a noise. I grabbed the back of the passenger seat and I flung around to check on Caroline.

Turns out she was just sleep talking. I watched her for a second before pulling out and heading back on the road.

At 7 that morning Caroline woke up and this time I risked everything to make her happy. I stopped at IHOP and I got her some pancakes and some fruit. As soon as she opened her eyes I glanced and saw her smile.

"Did you go into a restaurant for this?" She asked and I smiled.

"Oh yeah," I said and she grinned.

"Did you eat?" She said sitting up and leaning forward to eat.

"Yeah I got the same thing." She nodded and pigged out. That's one of the things I really liked about her, she would eat whatever. I have dated models that eat fucking saltines for each meal. It's just gross.

"Thanks so much," she said and I smiled again. I smiled a lot around her

"Anytime," I said and she squeezed my shoulder before sitting back again.

"I'm still kind of ti-"

I cut her off. "Go to sleep then," I said and she groaned a bit and I chuckled. "I don't want you to be too tired to see your new home tonight," I said and I knew she had a big smile on her face.

10 minutes later, sure enough I look back and she is out like a light.

Caroline's POV:

I woke up and it was dark again. Did I seriously sleep the whole day? I sat up a bit and realized Harry wasn't in the car.

I flung all the way up and I realized he was curled up in the trunk. He didn't have a pillow or anything.

I looked over at the car control panel and the clock wasn't on. I reached over and pressed the clock button and it flashed saying 9:00 pm.

I looked out the window and I saw we were in a Walmart parking lot. Smooth move Harry.

I got out and I headed to the back, opening the trunk. I moved the boxes to where I could see Harry. He was in such a deep sleep I was able to lift his head up and squeeze a pillow under.

I took his shoes off of him and I set them down. I also moved the boxes and stretched out his long legs. I covered him with a blanket and took his beanie off of him. He somehow looked peaceful even in a weird sleeping position.

I headed back to my seat and I kept hearing voices in the parking lot. I was there for so long staring at the roof of the car, I barely noticed it was already midnight.

I sat up and was about to wake Harry but I decided against it. If he didn't think it was safe, we wouldn't be here.. right?

I answered that for myself. Yeah.
