Harry grabbed my heels from me and let them dangle down from one had as he held my hand with his other. He held tight, as if he didn't want me to get away.
"I think I should go back to the dorm," I said softly and he stopped walking.
"Go back?" He muttered and I shrugged.
"You won't be here long," I realized and he shook his head.
"You don't understand, this is.. Fate or something," he tried to explain but he was talking too fast. "If we weren't met for each other why am I here then? Huh? It's fate. We have to be together Caroline. I can't go through this again."
I leaned my head onto his chest for a moment and then I took a deep breath, standing straight.
"I'm going to school now," I said and he shook his head. "You're on the road."
The truth is, I just didn't want my dad to find out. I remember what he said.
"Caroline please." He tried to grin but it fell off of his face. We both had a lot of talking to do.
"Harrry," I moaned and I leaned my head against him and he embraced me. "I'm sorry," I whispered into his chest and I felt him tense up.
"Please be with me, please, I'll do anything."
I looked up and let a small smile crawl on my face. "Come over then," I said against his jaw as he leaned down to me.
We kissed and he greedily led me over to the street and waved down a taxi. I smiled as we got in and he slid in besides me. I told the driver where we were going, and he drove off through the city.
I pulled my hair back and I noticed Harry watching me.
"Hmm?" I hummed and he smiled.
"You're even more beautiful than I remembered," he said and I felt the blush I did whenever I was around him.
He held my hand lightly and I gave it a little squeeze. "Where did they take Gale anyways?" I asked and he laughed.
"They took him around the block and back just to give us time, don't worry," he said and I frowned. I was glad they didn't do anything, but it hurt what he did.
"I didn't know he had jealously issues," I whispered and Harry scowled.
"Doesn't matter, you were mine first," he spat and I smiled.
"Or maybe you're the one with jealousy issues," I teased and laughed at his expression. He took it lightly though, and he leaned over and kissed me on the cheek.
"Maybe so," he said and I smiled.
"I really did miss you," I admitted and he didn't believe me. I could tell. But do I blame him? He literally caught me on a date.
"Even with Gale?" Yeah, I saw that coming. "You had a boyfriend," he said and awkwardly scratched his head.
"I needed something to keep me away from my family," I said and he tensed up once again. "I needed to get my mind off of you somehow."
"Where is that asshole dad of yours anyways?" he growled.
I shrugged. I didn't know honestly. Most likely at home, but he visited more because Gale and him were tight. Gale and my dad were always together.
Which is weird...
"Harry I just thought of something so weird," I started and I explained my thoughts I had about Gale and my father. This cross my mind before, but it was clear now.
He took a moment processing it. "Do you think he used Gale to keep an eye on you?" He asked and I snapped.
"Probably did," I said and it felt ridiculous but I'm sure it's was true.
"You know, I can't honestly say I'm not surprised," he said and I stared into his green eyes. They were so gorgeous.
"It makes sense, I always ignored Gale in class, honestly," I said and we both laughed. "I have to do something about it soon though," I muttered and glanced out the window. We were pulling up to my dorm.
"This it?" Harry asked as the cab stopped. I nodded and Harry threw up some cash to the driver and I rolled my eyes. Always paying.
We got out of the car, and when the can drove off I walked to Harry and he intertwined his fingers with mine.
I opened the door and then we walked down the hall. I stopped in the middle and pulled out my key from my clutch. I twisted the lock, realizing I just locked it. Which meant it was unlocked.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked abruptly, he probably saw the look on my face.
"The door," I started but shook my head. "Never mind," I said and brushed it off. I turned the key again and pushed the door open.
We walked into the room and I set my purse down on my nightstand. I had an unusually big dorm, and no roommate yet, so it was really nice.
I slid off my jacket and then I plopped down on my bed. Harry smiled and closed the door behind himself, and he pulled off his shoes.
I smiled at his outfit, it was exactly what he always wore but different. More stylish.
He plopped down next to me and I smiled at him.
"It's hot in here," he said quickly and I laughed.
"Is it?"
He laughed as he took off his blazer, revealing just his short sleeved black shirt. I felt my heart skip a best as I looked at the ink on his skin.
I couldn't keep my eyes away.
"You've never seen my tattoos," he said more of a statement.
I shook my head. I wanted too, horribly bad. I watched Harry stand up and he carefully pulled his shirt from the hem, all the way up and over his head. He threw the shirt on my bed and held out his hands.
I grabbed each one, and he yanked me with such force I fell into him, but he caught me. He totally planned that. I smiled as the little lamp allowed me to see each detail of his skin.
There was a huge butterfly on his stomach. I lightly traced it with the tips of my fingers as Harry's breathing was steadily moving. He was so calm.
Me on the other hand- I was freaking out. One moment I'm on a date with my normal boyfriend, the next I am touching the boy I still love who is actually a murderer and a professional musician? Yeah, typical day in the life of Caroline.
"I still can't believe you're here," I whispered and he snaked his arms around my waist and I smiled a bit to myself.
"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."
Me either.
