Harry drove us towards our new lake house. He unrolled all of the windows and I let the wind blow through my hair, it felt good to just not care.
I knew the first thing I wanted to do was take a shower. For sure.
We pulled around the long street and then we saw houses, which were on a lake that I could see right my window. The sun was hitting the water and it was all sparkly, it was pretty.
"It's so pretty," I said and I saw Harry smile through the corner of my eye. He started looking for the house more. I saw his body lean forward and his eyes were serious.
He pulled into a driveway and opened the garage with a little remote I hadn't noticed Fiona give him.
"Home sweet home," he said and got out.
I let myself out quickly and I followed Harry in the back to grab some stuff. We both grabbed a bunch of stuff and he opened the screen door for us that connected the garage to the house.
There was a huge mud room when you first walked in. Harry set all the stuff down and I did the same. We both took off our shoes and we started to explore the house. "This is so cool," I whispered as I noticed a big bookcase through the doorway.
"I know it is," he said and he smiled. I almost fell over at the sight of his dimples. God he was pretty.
Harry walked one way and I headed to the stairs. I climbed up and there was a big living space. The whole wall was glass and it overlooked the lake. It was so beautiful, I was mesmerized.
I guess I stared for too long because I heard Harry coming and I turned around.
"Pretty isn't it?" He said and I nodded, turning back around to look. Harry walked up next to me and took a deep breath.
"I can't believe we live here," I said and Harry sighed.
"It's great for now," he said and I registered that. For now.
From there we started to unpack everything. I started to put food away while Harry was going to make beds.
Once I was done I grabbed my clothes and I headed down the hall way. Harry and I decided to sleep in the rooms that were connected by the only full bathroom so he was right next to me. I still felt really safe around Harry, despite his background.
I started putting my clothes away when he danced into the room.
"I like you dance moves," I said and giggled a little as I folded a shirt and gently placed it in the drawer.
"Oh really?" He said and his eyes looked wild. I closed the drawer and faced towards him completely. I leaned back on the dresser and raised an eyebrow.
"Of course," I said and he smiled.
"I'm just excited," he said and I felt my smile stretch across my face. I was excited to be here too, it was great.
"So am I," I said and grabbed the last pair of shorts out of my bag. I opened another drawer and set then inside, closing it softly. I turned around again and Harry smiled.
"So do you by any chance have a bathing suit?"
I looked at him and squinted a bit. "By chance I do," I said and he smiled.
"Great," he said and snapped his fingers. "I will see you at dinner, I'll be right back," he said and I smiled as he danced back out of the room.
I pondered around the house while Harry was gone. When he came back he was carrying a box of pizza and he had a huge smirk on his face.
"What?" I asked as he handed me a slice. He was still making that face so I playfully asked.
