Syra's point of view

When me and Hassan are on our way home, he looks happy and excited and keeps on looking towards my side. But I don't even look at him or give him any attention and just look outside the car's window.

"I think I will have to take you to my family's place more often." He chuckles.

"And why is that?" I say expressionlessly.

"Cuz you're always in a good mood there...and I...love seeing you smile and laugh..."

I just roll my eyes and not look towards him. Does he seriously have no effect on how I treat him?

"By the way...what was the point of talking about the breakfast thing infront of your family?" I look at him finally and ask him.

"What was the point of throwing away my efforts like that?" He snaps.

"I told you not to keep your expectations high." I say firmly.

He doesn't respond and looks forward while driving and looks completely chill.

"Seriously why would you do that?" I ask, annoyed.

"I dunno, felt like it. Problem?" He says in that cocky tone of his and it annoys me like hell.

"I will show you what my problem is." I mumble to myself.

"I am sorry, you said something?" He asks in that same stupid tone.

I don't respond and look at the view outside.

When we reach home, I go to the dressing room and change into comfortable clothes and head to the kitchen to make some tea.

"So you learned acting from me huh?" He says playfully as he stands behind me in the kitchen.

"Well ofcourse an as-" I stop suddenly.

"Ooh...so someone wants me to kiss em huh?" He comes closer and teases me.

"No thanks. Now get away from me." I say firmly.

"Aww too bad... I was really in the mood of showing my wife some love..." He says playfully.

"Will you leave?" I say as I breathe out in anger.

"Haha okay okay..." and he leaves while laughing.

I seriously wanna kill him. He thinks everything is a joke and funny? I'll show him....

I go to the dinning room and place his mug on the table and head towards the window to see the view outside while drinking my tea.

I see him come towards me while holding his mug. And I feel my muscles tensing up in anger.

"You know you looked beautiful today...."

I roll my eyes and make a disgusted face.

"What's with that face?"

"Nothing."

"No seriously, what's with you?" He asks in a serious tone.

"I said nothing. I am not interested in your comments."

"Pfft. What? Are you serious? Doesn't a wife want her husband to compliment her? Every wife dies to hear compliments and all..." He laughs.

"Well I don't."

"And why is that?"

"Cuz you probably say that to every other woman..."

"Excuse me?" His tone and expressions change and he raises an eyebrow.
