Chapter 6

I'm also going to make chapters longer each time because I'm aware they are short. I'm also aware max and Harvey haven't been in much but don't worry they will be soon. Anyway enough babbling on. It's Tuesday. Only the second day of school! How do I survive? Yet again, Phoebe comes rushing up asking me how long I've known max and if we are an item.
"I've known him for around 20 hours in total! Oh and no we aren't items we are human beings! Thanks for the curiosity though Phoebe very much appreciated!"
There's no need for people to tell me I'm sarcastic. I already know! I hear a laugh behind me and, when I turn around, I see Harvey laughing at my sarcasm.
"Omg Harvey!" Phoebe squeals. I look at him sympathetically as she gives him the exact opposite of personal space and starts asking a load of questions without giving him chance to reply. The teacher comes in.
"Phoebe! Stop bugging everyone for the worlds sake! You aren't giving people any freedom. I'm afraid if you continue with this behaviour I'll have to start dishing out some detentions!"
I couldn't help it! I know I shouldn't but I couldn't stop myself. Neither could Harvey. We both burst into fits of giggles.
"Well, if you both think it's so funny, why don't you spend tonight in detention instead!"
Oh no! Detention is the worst!
As Harvey moves over to his assigned seat, I notice that max seems distraught. I wonder why. Maybe it's because now he has to wait for Harvey to do his detention.
Ugh! I hate detention!

After school ~
Me and Harvey aren't the only ones in detention. Justin Barker is in detention because he's always late for school. Holly Great is in detention because she refused to sit in her assigned seat. You already know why me and Harvey are here. We're sat next to each other, tapping our fingers on the desk and watching the clock tick. The teacher stands up.
"I'm going to fill my drink up! Nobody talk!"
As soon as she walks out, the two others start talking at the front. Harvey leans over near me.
"Max likes you!"
"What?"
"He watches your videos all the time! He has a crush on you!"
"Give over!"
"Honestly!"
"I'd never believe such a thing!"
"Why did you think he looked so upset when we both got detention?"
"Cos now he has to wait for you!"
"He doesn't, my mum picked him up! He was sad because I'm spending time with you and he isn't!"
"Don't be stupid! This is ridiculous!
"As ridiculous as it is, it's true.."
Harvey is cut off by the sound of footsteps. The teacher returns. All I could think about for the rest of detention is what Harvey said. Maybe max does like me! Do I like him?
