Chapter 13

The door bell awoke Kyungsoo from his slumber. He stumbled out of bed, rubbing his eye as he opened the door just as a yawn escaped. Covering his mouth, he couldn't see who it was until he walked closer and squinted his eyes. 

"What do you want?" He asked the giant standing in front of him who was nervously smiling. "I'm here for Baekhyun" He shrugged.

"But why? It's so early" Another yawn escaped his mouth and Chanyeol laughed. "Why are you laughing, Yoda?" He asked making Chanyeol laugh even more. "Kyungsoo, it's not that early, school starts in another 30 minutes. Did you sleep in?" He curiously questioned. Kyungsoo's eyes widened, "shit" He muttered. "Wait are you wearing- is that Jongin's?" He squinted down at the hoodie. 

"Shut it Yoda, wait how do you know it's his?" Kyungsoo asked, looking up at Chanyeol. "Dude, he's like wearing it all the time. It's his favourite hoodie. I'm just surprised you have it, he doesn't let anyone wear it" Chanyeol told, making Kyungsoo feel weird and fuzzy inside. He hid his smile which wanted to surface so desperately. "Whatever, I'll go get Baekhyun" Kyungsoo left the door open and left.

He knocked on Baekhyun's room door, telling him Chanyeol is here before going to the bathroom. He did his business and quickly changed before putting his contacts in and pushing his hair to the side. Since he was already running late, he skipped breakfast and gathered his things. Just as he was about to leave, the doorbell rang again. 

"Agh, who is it now?" He asked himself but when he opened the door, anger disbursing as the person smiled down at him. "H-hi" He stuttered. Goddamnit, you stuttered Kyungsoo, he mentally cursed. 

"Hey, are you ready to go?" Jongin asked, snapping Kyungsoo out of his trance. "Uh, yeah" Kyungsoo responded as he slipped his shoes on and followed Jongin to his car.

His heart hammered against his chest and palms started to sweat wildly as he sat in Jongin's car. They made small talk as Jongin pulled over in the school's parking lot. 

"Are you ok? You're acting a little weird" Jongin asked as they walked towards their school gate. "Me? Pfft, yeah I'm fine" he said so out of character, making Jongin look at him weirdly. Besides the fact that I have a damn new found crush on you! He thought as he smiled. I'll be over it soon, he thought walking to his locker.

"Goddammit Kyungsoo, why are you like this?!" He whisper-shouted to himself, some student around him giving him weird looks. "So? Soo Hyung, what's this Jongin thing I hear?" A familiar voice asked as he leaned against the locker next to Kyungsoo's. Kyungsoo's eyes widened, "how do you-" he was cut off. "Baekhyun," Sehun said. "So? Is it true? Do you like him?" Sehun asked just as Jongin came in earshot but stopped when he heard this. Kyungsoo sighed. "Yes, I do. But you better not open your mouth or I'll go Satansoo your ass" Kyungsoo responded. Sehun put his hands up in defence, "I won't, relax" He muttered.

What? Doesn't he like Xiumin? Wait who does he like? I am so confused, Jongin thought but pretended he didn't hear anything as he walked up to the two. Sehun snickered when Jongin said 'Hi' but greeted him back.

"You know Jongin, you're dumb like really dumb, like too dumb to function dumb" Luhan teased the younger male. "Gee thanks, Luhan, that really helps my self-esteem" Jongin sarcastically responded, scoffing at the male. "My pleasure" Luhan joked back, laughing at himself. They just got out of third period and it was finally lunch, Jongin's most preferred time of the day because of food, of course.

"Uh, Luhan you go ahead, I'll catch up" he dismissively said as Luhan shrugged and walked in a completely different direction to Jongin.

"Hey Kyungsoo" he greeted the male at his locker. Kyungsoo nearly choked at the sudden greeting of the younger male. "Hi" he didn't turn around and Jongin waited for him to finish. He sighed and pouted as he couldn't find what he was looking for. Jongin gave him a questioning look as he turned around. "I can't find my bio textbook. I think I left it at home" his eyebrows scrunched, the pout still evident on his face. Jongin tried not to smile at his cuteness and secretly cooed.
