SMUT AHEAD, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
It felt as if time had slowed down to an agonising pace. For Jongin that is. It hadn't even been a full 3 weeks since he's boyfriend had left and he couldn't wait for the months to pass by. Least to say, impatience was killing him. Since he doesn't have school either made it somewhat worse. He basically had no idea what to do with life. Just to make it worse, he hasn't been in contact with Kyungsoo that much. He didn't want to disturb him and his family too much. But, the days till Christmas were getting lesser, he just had to suffer through another 2 weeks.
"You're overfilling the glass" Luhan snapped him out of his thoughts as he felt the liquid substance run down his fingers.
"Oh, sorry" he instantly stopped pouring and put the carton of orange juice down. Grabbing paper towels, he wiped the kitchen bench down. He threw the paper towels away, following Luhan out of the kitchen. They joined Chanyeol and Sehun in the living room who were playing some video game. Today was just like any other, they all spent the day together, hung out, played video games and etc at Luhan's.
It was already late so they all decided to just stay the night. Luhan's parents aren't home, again, so it just made it more convenient for the teenage boys. Jongin stared at his phone, contemplating if he should call Kyungsoo or not, considering the fact that it's nearly 12 am. Jongin shook his head, thinking he's probably already asleep. He took the controller off Chanyeol and started playing. He lost quite a few times against Sehun that he eventually gave up and passed the controller onto Luhan.
Of course, they all teased Jongin for losing but he just waved them off, laughing along. But as Jongin picked his phone up again, he realised he had a missed call from half an hour ago. Of course, he's gonna call when in the middle of playing, Jongin thought as he unlocked his phone. He pressed the dial button and waited as the phone rung.
"Hey Nini" the tired voice greeted. Hearing his voice calmed Jongin down as a smile spread across his lips.
"Hey Kyungie, you seem tired do you want me to call back later?" Jongin asked, noticing the hint of tiredness in his tone.
"No, I'm fine, I just really wanted to talk to you. I miss you, a lot" Kyungsoo's voice sounded upset which hurt Jongin. But the words said by the older made his heart skip a beat at the same time.
"I miss you too, baby. So damn much" he whispered the last part, not even wanting Kyungsoo to hear it. But the older male heard it, a sad smile spreading across his lips. Kyungsoo just wanted to be in Jongin's arms right now, at the least he wanted to see the male.
"Nini, I want to see your face. Can we Skype call?" Kyungsoo's innocent voice asked and Jongin instantly agreed.
"Is that even a question? Sure we can" he responded, making Kyungsoo laugh.
Jongin hung up the phone and opened the Skype app and began to untangle his earphones. The odd silence caught his attention as he looked up to meet the eyes of 3 boys.
"What?" He asked, plugging the earphones into the jack.
"Nothing," all 3 said in unison. "Ok then.." Jongin looked back down at his phone.
"I feel like I'm watching a scene from a movie where the two characters refuse to believe they're in love" Luhan commented and the other 2 agreed, nodding their heads. They went back to their gaming and yelling.
Jongin shook his head, pressing the call button as soon as the icon turned green. Seconds later, Kyungsoo's face appeared and Jongin's heart skipped a beat at the sight of his beautiful boyfriend. Kyungsoo laid there, messy hair falling everywhere while cuddling with the Pororo plushy Jongin gave him. The only thing illuminating his face was the phone screen. His big wide eyes stared back into the camera, a smile coating his heart-shaped lips.
