Chapter 14

"Guys act along, he's coming!" Luhan whisper shouted at the two idiots standing around. "Did I really have to agree to this?" Jongdae groaned. "Yes now act along, dumbass. Pretend you like him or something" Luhan commanded. "If this doesn't work, I have many ways of murder planned for you" Jongin grumbled. "Damn, Kyungsoo really is rubbing off on you" Luhan teased making Jongin roll his eyes.

"Hey, Kyungsoo you're finally here" Luhan greeted the male with a hug which was returned. "Yeah, sort of had to wait for Baekhyun to leave before we could come" Kyungsoo explained. "Oh" Luhan responded as he hooked his arm into Kyungsoo and took him a little further away from the other two. Unfortunately, as soon as Kyungsoo got there, his eyes searched for a certain tan, brunette male. But being taken away before he got to talk to him made Kyungsoo frown.

"Soo, remember when I said I need your help bringing Jongin somewhere to get him and Jongdae together?" Luhan asked. Kyungsoo slowly nodded, thinking back to the time. Right, Jongin likes someone else, Kyungsoo's heart clenched but he tried not to let the hurt expression take over.

"Well, scratch that. Jongin said today that he's going to finally ask Jongdae out. Ahh, do you know how long I've waited for this to happen? I just want them both to be genuinely happy, you know?" Luhan rambled on but Kyungsoo stopped listening at 'ask Jongdae out'. His stomach churned as a sickening feeling came over him. He tried not to grimace but was failing.

 "So, you in?" Luhan finally finished. "Uh, yeah sure" Kyungsoo had no idea what he was getting himself into. All he knows is he likes Jongin and he can't watch his happen, he'll actually physically throw up.

"Cool. Now act normal like we didn't have this conversation and help me with setting this up" Luhan pointed at what he was doing and Kyungsoo nodded. Alright, this isn't going to be too bad, Kyungsoo thought as started. He couldn't help but overhear some of their conversations and how they shyly flirted with each other. It all made Kyungsoo feel sick to his stomach. He couldn't handle watching the two be like this. 

Kyungsoo's nose scrunched up as he watched the to from the corner of his eyes, secretly envying Jongdae. 

This is going to be worse than I thought, Kyungsoo sighed, glancing at the two. Luhan, on the other hand, had to cover up his snickers with coughs at what he was witnessing. The two of his friends, acting like that plus Kyungsoo's reaction just seemed all too funny to him.

"I'll be right back in a minute," Kyungsoo said to Luhan who nodded before going back to what he was doing. Kyungsoo didn't know where he was going or what he was going to do but he just needed to be away from the two. He felt sick, he felt like he was going to throw up everything he's eaten that day. And so he walked for a good ten minutes to clear his mind. Whatever, it's just a small crush, I'll get over it, Kyungsoo thought, dreading as he knew he had to walk back before someone noticed.

As he walked, he looked down and kicked lightly at the surface of sand. A body collided with his out of nowhere and the male was excitedly jumping. "OMG! It's happening! It's happening!" Luhan deafened Kyungsoo. "What? What's happening?" He asked out of confusion. Luhan didn't respond but pulled his arm instead, directing him to the two people he didn't want to see.

There, Jongin stood holding onto Jongdae's waist, whispering something in his ear. The boy shyly looked down and nodded as a smile spread across his face. Kyungsoo felt a pang in his chest, only if he were in that position with Jongin. His heart sped up as dread spread across his body. The sickening feeling returned by the second as if his stomach was doing somersaults.

Jongin gently held onto the shorter male's hand and lead him away from their group of friends. "This better be working, Kkamjong" Jongdae whispered, a smile still on his face. "Just shut up and act along" Jongin whispered back.
