Laura's POV
"I really can't believe you! The shop was only near our room. You could've gotten the life jackets and come back at once." I know he already said sorry but, this was the very first time he was late for an errand. And I almost died.
"I'm sorry. I told you something came up."
"What is it then? Tell me so I'd understand. Is it really important?" Something has gotten me cranky. maybe it's just my period. but whatever it is, i really won't let go of this matter.
"I was--"
*totototototototototot*
His reasoning was cut off by some phone call. his screen flashes the name Heaven. I don't know that person but one thing's for sure. he's getting on my nerves. He looked at me before answering the call.
"Hey... Yeah sure... I'll be there... See you in a bit yeah?... Bye."
"So?" I gave him a give me an explanation and who was that look. but instead of answering, he got up.
"I'll explain later 'cause i'll be leaving for now." He flashed an apologetic smile before leaving.
*sigh*
At once my anger drained and i felt so bored.
Maybe i'll just go around and find something interesting to do.
Maymay's POV

Na! Nabuang na. Grabe kinikilig parin ako. Heto nananaginip ng gising nanaman ako. Haayyy Ang gwapo talaga ni Edwa-- este ni Enrique..
Teka. Ano ba ang pinagsasabi ko?
Sinampal ko ang aking sarili.
"Magising ka nga! Nabubuang ka nanaman eh." ngayon naman para na akong timang. kinakausap ang sarili.
haynako! mangunguha na lang ako ng mga pictures para maipadala kay mama. nung naalala ko, don ko na nalaman..
Hala patay! Yung dslr ko!
Laura's POV
Strolling along the sea while admiring its beauty is probably the thing that makes me think less about almost getting killed by it. It's funny 'cause after drowning, the breeze seems to be a lot nicer and gentler on my skin.
I closed my eyes while walking. feeling each moment dearly.
"Ouch!" I think i hit my toes...
with a camera.
I rotated the camera several times and found a note at the bottom that says:
Marami rami po ang aking kinuha sa savings ko para makabili nito. maawa naman po kayo. kung nawala to, paki balik nalang po kay Marydale Entrata aka Maymay. Salamat po.. Pagpalain sana kayo ng Diyos :D
I smiled. Maymay. I don't know but I feel good just by hearing her name. maybe it's because she saved me. I understood some of what she said. I'm half filipino anyway. My mom would speak to us using the language sometimes but we never learn.
"Omaygash! Asan na yun? Sana mabait ang nakakuha non. Lord, ano po yung gagawin ko?" I smiled again after hearing her from behind.
