Kuranosuke and Tsukimi were lounging on the couch in the living room after they ate supper out. Their stomachs distended with what they had assumed was a simple over indulgence. It quickly became apparent this wasn't the case at all when Tsukimi covered her mouth and nearly fell off the couch in an attempt to make a mad dash toward the bathroom. Kuranosuke blinked as his mind processed how fast she had sprinted away and questioned if he should check on how she was doing. His concern for her was brief as suddenly he was heading toward the kitchen sink to relieve himself.

That night they both got very little sleep as they both dealt with their own bouts of a horrific case of food poisoning. Needless to say Tsukimi's purchases she had made earlier on in the day were completely forgotten about as they coped with their illness.

The following day somehow Kuranosuke managed to crawl into Tsukimi's bed. They were both too ill to cuddle up to each other. But the comfort of just being in each others' presence was like a comforting soothing balm. They clasped their hands and wove their fingers together as they napped off and on throughout the morning.

At about two pm Kuranosuke woke up and remembered to revisit the website he had found the numerous reviews of that restaurant on. He wanted to make sure to give some of those people a piece of his mind. His eyes cast over the newest reviews and his frown grew. The restaurant did have overall a great rating but it recently had changed ownership and new management had taken over. Several customers who had written a previously exceptionally review were now warning people to not sample their wares until further notice. Only with some colorful expletives that would make Tsukimi blush.

He felt his cheeks begin to burn as he grew embarrassed and angry with himself. A soft hand touched his cheek. "What's wrong?"

He was hesitant to show her due to the curse words but she should learn of his own imperfections. He handed her his phone and after she put on her glasses he watched as her dark eyes scanned the text. "So, they did have a good overall rating." She looked back at him. "It's a shame we didn't get to try it a month ago."

"You aren't mad at me?"

"Mad?" She blinked. "You were just trying to take me out somewhere new to eat. There's always a risk of getting food poisoning with whatever you eat."

"But I should have read the com—"

She put her finger to his lips. "You know what happened the first time I attempted to make Oyako Donburi*?" Her finger remained at his lips as he shook his head. "I didn't end up cooking the chicken quite enough. My dad pointed it out once he noticed. But that was after we both had eaten half the bowl. Needless to say, this isn't the first time I have had such a bad case of food poisoning."

The rest of their Saturday and Sunday passed by quickly and quite uneventfully as they stayed in and nursed themselves back to health.
