Quick Author's Note, or rather an apology. Back to school time and things are chaotic here at home. I totally lost track of time and realized too late that I forgot to update this yesterday morning. So here this chapter is just over a day and a half late. I sincerely apologize and hope all is forgiven. Enjoy!
Kuranosuke has been trying exceptionally hard to keep up appearances. The past two weeks have went by exceptionally fast but for the most part have only consisted of working on planning out the boutique, designing clothing for the boutique, and classes for Tsukimi. In turn that means there hasn't been any time to set up a third date for the two of them. He has tumbled around two date ideas in his head but he isn't really sure which one will work better.
On the third Friday movie night his time is spent mulling over his own thoughts and feelings while Sabrina is on the television sorting out her feelings between two brothers. When they all rounded up for the movie Tsukimi didn't chose to sit beside him. She instead sat between Kiyoko and Mirai. The last thing he wants to feel in this moment is selfish. Truthfully, he is happy she is developing such close friendships with the girls in question. But it's not completely unreasonable that as her boyfriend he is feeling left out and perhaps under appreciated. I'm just going to have to plan out the date for Sunday I guess. Sunday was their next full day off and taking her out after Saturday morning sewing class hardly seemed romantic.
The first idea was spending some time at a lakeside park, renting a tandem, and perhaps taking a paddle boat out onto the lake. They already had a picnic but who was to say they couldn't do another picnic. The other idea was spending a day at a theme park. He actually was more hesitant about this idea over the other because he wasn't sure how Tsukimi felt about theme park rides at all, let alone roller coasters.
He was expelled from his reverie when he realized the others were standing and stretching sore, stiff joints and muscles. It appeared Sabrina got her happy ending so it was time for the others to head home. Once they left he was nearly knocked off his feet in surprise when Tsukimi launched his direction and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"These past two weeks have been long." She muttered half to herself.
"They have." Kuranosuke wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer. "I feel like we haven't had much time alone together."
Tsukimi bit her bottom lip as she considered the meaning behind his statement. He could either mean time alone as in simply romantic time as a couple. Or it was also likely he meant alone make out time. She was a bit shocked when she realized that she would be okay relishing in any alone time with him.
"I have been trying to plan out our next date for the past two weeks. It hasn't really been going quite as well as before. I think I am running out of material." He chuckles which has Tsukimi chiming in.
