We wandered through that dark forest for what felt like half a day. Each step we took was unsettling.

The forest itself seemed alive, twisting and turning in sinister ways.

The wind whispered, the trees creaked and moaned lending to the ominous feeling of dread that crept up our spines.

The deeper we went the taller the trees seemed to be, and more and more of the dim fading light of the sun seemed to be blotted out.

Picking up some wood from the ground I wrapped it in some clothe that I found in my sack and lit it into a makeshift torch.

The sun had set leaving nothing but a darkness and tall eerie shadows all about us.

"Hey Marina, what do you think it is we're looking for? Marina?" I turned and she was gone.

"Marina!" I shouted turning round and round searching for her. "Marina!" I scanned the area left and right the was no sight of her.

I turned around once more looking for her.

"Holy crap!"

I fell backward having almost ran directly into something hanging from the tree in front of me.

"Ahahaha, haha haha!" Marina was hanging from the tree.
