I, as his daughter and the future Chieftain, accompanied my father where you and I met," she said, looking down with a gentle smile, "against the advice of the tribe I elected to stay in the mortal realm under the guise of learning from mortals, in which some time later you and I wed."
"Wait, you had told me that you were given the option to either to marry me or return home?"
"Yes, that was the choice my father gave me after we had met, but before then, I had decided to spend time in the mortal realm to learn from you mortals," she responded.
"I understand that, but why!-" I said.
Before I could finish, she cut me off, "On our wedding night, do you remember, you promised me something?" She said.
"That under the full moon, when you would go to the tower alone was I or anyone else to open the door," i replied.
"Yes, and despite that, you broke your promise!" She said, nearly shouting.
"The children were worried for you!" I shouted back.
