While still reeling from vertigo, nausea, and an odd sense of numbness and weakness throughout my body I raised my head to look around.

We were in what looked to be a vast plains. There was nothing around us . . .

Except.

"Ahh . . . !!!" As I looked towards the distance to the north I saw someone which made my eyes widen and took my breath away.

"What do you . . . What!?" Marina like wise turned to the direction I was facing.

Before us in the way off distance was a tower to immense that the very top of it seemed to pierce the heavens. Though we were so far away that we could not even see the base of the tower, we could none the less see the spire clearly.

"Well there's no doubt about it that must be the tower that witch mentioned," marina said while breathing heavily.

"Yes, though perhaps we should rest a bit before we make our trek to the tower."

"Agreed."

We decided to take a short rest as we both were not in any condition to travel. There was still an awkward silence between us.
