*Kiyomi's Perspective*

"Thank you so much for all your help!" I said gratefully, bowing to the old woman beside me. I had been travelling for five days, stopping for help whenever I found a place to rest.

"Stay out of trouble dear, I don't know where you're going but I hope you get there safely." She waved. "I hope your not running from something"

"I'm going back to something I left behind a long time ago" I told her with a smile. She nodded proudly, then watched me off. I was getting close to the sand, everything was much more familiar now. But I couldn't help but shake the thought that I wouldn't be accepted back.

I wasn't even sure if they would want me in the sand, If Gaara still considered me a student, if Temari still cared for me, if Kankuro was still like an older brother. I was worried that I had ruined things for myself by leaving. I thought it was a good idea to go to Orochimaru, I regret that I had to leave but I don't regret all of the knowledge and strength I have gained.

There were too many different perspectives to look through at this point. They could be relieved that I had returned, or furious because they thought I was a traitor. I was starting to second guess myself as I saw the familiar gates in the distance. It took me a few minutes to realize I had completely stopped moving. I just stood there, staring at the gates I had once known so well.

"Come on Kiyomi, you can do this" I whispered to myself. I never thought going home would be so hard. I began to move my legs, slowly but surely. The closer I got to the gate, the more terrifying my thoughts became.

I began pacing back and forth, picturing all the possible outcomes. I could almost see the disappointment in his eyes as he banned me from the sand and officially declared me a rogue ninja.

"No, I can't do this" I whined to myself, letting a single tear fall from my eye. I turned around and began walking back the way I had come. I wasn't sure what I would do, maybe I would try to find Sasuke and join him with his crazy plans. Maybe that was my destiny, maybe I just wasn't meant to be the good guy anymore.

"KIYOMI" A voice yelled in the distance, I turned around quickly to see who was calling me. Both my team, well former team, and Aiko's team were standing near the gates. I shook my head and wiped the tears from my face, I couldn't let them come take me. They were going to punish me for what I had done, for betraying them all.

I had to come up with a way out of here as soon as possible. I focused my chakra to help defend myself, the more I focused whirls of wind began to form and cascade around me. A tornado formed around me, I stood in the eye of the tornado, protected from anyone who tried to enter.

I heard a commotion but I wasn't worried about my focus until one Kunai got through. I dodged it quickly, but had to break my whirl of wind to do so. I was faced with Kakashi, Guy, Sai, Tenten, Neji and Lee. I saw Aiko behind them sitting on the floor with Naruto. Sakura stood close by them, almost guarding them. I was confused as to why she was sitting behind everyone and not trying to help the others. Maybe she was overwhelmed by seeing me again, this made me feel even worse than before.

"No, I can't let you guys take me. I never betrayed you, you can't take me away. Let me go and I won't bother you anymore" I yelled fiercely, before jumping back from the kunai that was thrown at me by Tenten.

"Don't hurt her!" Aiko yelled, hearing her voice made my heart ache. It had been so long since I last heard her gentle voice.

"Aiko, focus on what you need to do!" Guy yelled back at her. They all turned back to me now, watching me closely.
