Part Two: 9, moving forward

*Kiyomi's Perspective*

I opened my eyes and yawned as I groggily rubbed the tiredness from my eyes. Once my eyes adjusted to the light I realized where I was. I was still at Naruto's house, we must've fallen asleep after Gaara left. If Lady Tsunade found out I snuck out, especially with Naruto, we'd both be dead.

I was about to wake up Naruto but his sleeping face was so peaceful and I couldn't help but stare silently in admiration. His arm was wrapped around my waist and his warm breath was fanning my neck. I was so comfortable, if we were in any other situation I would of cuddled him back and enjoyed a lazy day in bed with him, but I really couldn't risk it today.

"Naruto, It's time to wake up." I said loudly but soothingly. In response he just pulled me into him closer and nuzzled his face into my neck. "That's very cute but I can't let that get you off the hook." I whisper yelled, but clearly wasn't being listened to. I pulled away from his warm embrace and he let out a groan of disatisfaction in his sleep.

I started peppering his face with little pecks and with each one a small little 'mwah' sound escaped my lips. As he fluttered his eyes open, I couldn't help but giggle at his cute expression that was confused at first but then he began smiling from ear to ear.

"That's a pleasant way to wake up" He said in a husky tone that almost made me forget what situation we're in. I sat up quickly, "Naruto, do you realize where we are right now?" I asked slowly, knowing it was early and it'll take him even longer than usual to process what I'm saying.

"In... my house?" He said slowly, not realizing what I was trying to get at.

I took a patient breath. "Ok, Where are we not?" I tried again.

It took a moment but he soon shot up and seemed wide awake.

"Not at the hospital" He panicked, with wide eyes.

"I'm going to get in so much trouble" I groaned, rubbing my forehead, not moving from my position. I almost felt like crying, I couldn't believe we had been so stupid and not went back to the hospital last night. Naruto sat up and positioned himself right beside me. He swung his arm around me and I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"It will probably be fine, what time do they do rounds?" He said in attempts to reassure that things would work out. I tried to remember the last time I was there for the morning rounds but I couldn't think of it.

"I don't know, I've been sneaking out with you so much lately, I can't even remember. Plus, when I was there I would have been asleep." I sighed, feeling my stress level starting to rise.

"Okay babe, don't worry. Just get ready and I will take you back to the hospital" He smiled, giving me a kiss on the cheek before getting up and making his way to the bathroom. I felt my cheeks getting hot due to the fact that he had called me babe, I had to shake the thought because we just didn't have time to waste right now. Naruto walked out of the washroom with a toothbrush in his mouth and he began scrambling through a pile of clothes.

"We don't have time to get ready, we need to go like, now" I told him, trying to reach for my wheelchair. He took the toothbrush out of his mouth and just stared at me for a few seconds.

"Kiyomi, you are wearing my shirt, and your current outfit is missing a pair of pants." He laughed, shaking his head at me. I groaned. "Just hurry and get ready"

"You don't have permission to tell anyone that I am not wearing pants" He walked back to the washroom to quickly rinse his mouth and put away his tooth brush. I tried to get up but my legs still felt a bit weak. Naruto heard my little grunts of failure and said,
