*Aiko's Perspective*

After having multiple servings of food thanks to Gaara sensei, everyone was walking slowly and carefully from being so full. It had been established that we would stay the night in the Kazekage building but for the time being we were free to roam. Neji, Naruto, Kiyomi and I decided to walk around the streets before curfew.

"Guy and I will come with you guys, you never know what could happen. I don't know how I feel about you guys being alone" Kakashi said wearily.

"We won't be gone for long, I have nothing. No money, no social standing anymore, I just want to walk around my home town and reminisce. Is that really so horrible sensei?" Kiyomi groaned, giving him a pleading look.

"Do not go far Kiyomi, I swear." Kakashi warned, "Neji, you're in charge. I'm trusting you" He said seriously, directing his gaze at Neji now. I giggled, knowing Neji was tired of being the 'responsible one'.

"Thank you Kakashi, for not holding things against me after all i've done. I'm really happy you are my sensei" Kiyomi told him sincerely. Guy put a hand on Kakashi's shoulder and winced, while Kakashi looked overwhelmed at Kiyomi's sudden mood change.

"You guys go on now, don't be irresponsible" Kakashi said awkwardly. Guy rested his head on Kakashi's shoulder and let the tears flow, I rolled my eyes at his over dramatic actions. Kiyomi giggled and thanked them once again with a bow.

"Well come on guys" Naruto said pulling us in the opposite direction of our sensei's. Neji wrapped his arm around my waist and made us slow our pace down so Naruto and Kiyomi could walk ahead.

"He confessed his feelings for her" I whispered to him.

"Aiko, wait until they are farther away and can't hear" He said sharply. I stayed quiet, and did as he said. I didn't know how to explain to him that Naruto kissed her but didn't really kiss her.

"They can't hear me now, either way I have to tell you this" I said, sounding like a little girl gossiping in the academy.

"So wait, when did he confess because I don't recall that happening" He said in a confused tone.

"In my head Neji, c'mon you should have guessed that with you and your so called 'genius brain'" I teased, looking up at him with a wide toothy grin.

"My 'genius brain' is at its full capacity right now because I'm babysitting those two" He said sarcastically pointing at Kiyomi and Naruto who were pushing each other around, laughing and smiling. It made me happy to see Kiyomi and Naruto so content with each others presence, it was as if Kiyomi never left.

"Well, anyways.. It happened in the genjutsu. It was cute, I never knew he had it in him to say anything romantic" I shrugged.

"He doesn't seem like 'the type' for a lot of things, but Naruto truly is extraordinary." Neji admitted. I always loved seeing the side of Neji that wasn't always visible to others. He always came off as self-motivated and cocky, but he really is inspired by others.

"I guess I just have to find that out for myself." I smiled. "Oh yeah, and they kissed!" I exclaimed, remembering the moment.

"Shhh, they will hear you" Neji hushed, putting his hand over my mouth. "But they didn't really kiss because it was all a genjutsu" He answered. Kiyomi ran into a store and Naruto went chasing behind her, they seemed to be having a good time.

"No, well I guess they didn't really kiss. And the confession was mostly just him speaking, she didn't really voice her opinion" I told him.

"We should leave them on their own then so they can talk. But we have to make them stop acting like children. Look at them, running around like wild animals" Neji said, looking exhausted.
