*Kiyomi's Perspective*

I awoke by Aiko's distressed voice screaming in my face. "Kiyomi, Wake up! You're gonna be late for your first date with Narutoooo."

I sprang awake and looked at my clock by my bedside table.

"Aiko, I still have the whole day to get ready. You couldn't let me sleep?" I groaned, hitting her with my pillow and turning over so my back was toward her.

"I know, but I want to hangout with you before you go out on your first date." She said with an excited smile. I smiled at her thoughtfulness, but really wished she had let me sleep a little bit longer.

"We're just going to eat ramen, we have done that a thousand times" I told her, trying to make the situation seem more casual and also trying to hide my excitement.

" I know, but this time it's an official date. Also last time you ate with Naruto, you were just 'friends for now', Now you guys have confronted each other about your feelings." She said with a wide grin.

"I know that the intentions are different now, but it's just Ichiraku's" I shrugged. She sighed and pulled me off of the bed.

"We need to go over some do's and dont's for today" Aiko said, pulling me towards the vanity.

"It's never that serious, Aiko" I laughed as she played around with my hair.

"When you've dated Neji for this long, sometimes it is." She laughed and shook her head. Most likely reminiscing on old memories. "Anyways, what were you planning on wearing?"

"Oh, well I thought I would just wear the same thing I always do?" I said nervously although it came out more like a question.

"Well, I guess you could borrow something of mine" Aiko said, turning around and walking towards her dresser. As she rummaged through her drawers I thought about telling her, once again, that it wasn't that serious.

In her eyes, going out with a boy for the first time was a big deal. But, to me, it's another day. I didn't want to be all worked up for the date and then be unable to enjoy it due to my nerves. Naruto and I would be going to eat some ramen as we have many times, I reassured myself.

"How about this? It's simple but cute" She questioned, holding up a white tank top and a pair of black shorts. I chose to take the outfit willingly instead of fighting it.

"Thank you for all your help itoko" I said gratefully. She responded with a smile.

"What are you going to do with your hair?" She asked. I internally groaned, wishing she could pretend this date wasn't such a big deal.

"Well, I guess I'm going to have to do something with it now"I shrugged with a small giggle. Aiko put a finger on her chin and analyzed me.

"Hmm, what should we do?" She asked herself, while picking up pieces of my hair and throwing them in different directions. I sat their like a barbie head as she played with my hair, casually throwing my hair into my face.

"We could just put it into a ponytail" I said as she pulled my hair back.

"Hmm, why don't we do half up/half down?" I was wondering why she was still asking me questions, when in reality I had no say in the matter. She began brushing my long lavender-grey hair.

"You know, I think I want to cut my hair" I said out loud, grabbing a strand of hair and looking at it closely.

"No, Kiyomi. Not before your date!" Aiko said, slapping my hand away. I laughed and let the thought slide. "Is Naruto coming here to get you?" She asked.
