*Kiyomi's Perspective*

"Bye Kakashi sensei! I'll see you tomorrow!"I called out, waving my hand goodbye enthusiastically. He waved as he kept walking, acknowledging me but still not turning to face me.

Training today was surprisingly fun, Naruto didn't stay around for long, he went to go train with a man who seemed to be around Kakashi's age, his name was Yamato. Sakura stayed for a little bit to cheer me on, but soon left to practice in the medical core. As for Sai he stayed back and helped Kakashi sensei with his tough task of training me. Sai wasn't as intimidating as he looked, although he was sometimes dull, you could see his effort.

I turned around, and began my walk to Ichiraku ramen. Aiko and I had promised to meet each other there after training to talk about our first day apart. Well, technically it wasn't a day apart since I'm on my way to see her now.

Today Kakashi went easy on me, he knows I'm not very experienced or as advanced as Naruto or Sai. As much as I loved having Gaara as a teacher, Kakashi made a really good first impression. Gaara was easy on us because he knew us since we were small, but Kakashi and I don't have that kind of bond. Kakashi sensei can be hard on me and feel nothing of it.

"Hey! Kiyomi, wait up!"I heard a familiar voice yell from behind me, I turned around to see Akamaru. I was taken aback for a moment as I tried to figure out where the voice was coming from, Akamaru's presence confusing me even more. Kiba walked out from behind Akamaru and flashed me a wide smile.

"Oh hey Kiba, hey Akamaru" I said cheerfully.

"You had your first day of training with the new team today didn't you?"He asked, his voice had an attractive raspy undertone that made almost anything he said sound beautiful.

"Yeah I did, I just finished up"I replied, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

"If you're not too tired, would you want to come on a walk with me and Akamaru?" He questioned with an amused smile.

"I wish I could, but I promised Aiko I would meet her at Ichiraku ramen after training"I said sadly, Kiba seemed like a really nice guy, plus if I got to go on the walk with him Aiko would have been jealous that I got to spend time with Akamaru.

"Don't worry about it, but I still don't think a pretty girl like you should be walking around by yourself. You could get lost and run into the wrong people, I'll walk you to Ichiraku"He smiled, my cheeks flushed and I turned my head towards the floor.

Back in the sand, there wasn't really any boys who gave me attention. Aiko always seemed to catch their eye, her calm and quiet demeanor had always drawn the boys interest. Most people are overwhelmed by my loud and fiery personality, and short temper. Having Kiba call me beautiful and show interest in my well being was a nice treat.

"Are you this nice to every girl?" I asked, giving him a playful nudge. We began walking down the road at a calm pace.

"Maybe, maybe not"He smirked, adding a small laugh afterwards.

"There's nothing wrong with being nice to girls, we deserve respect. But don't go being too nice to a lot of girls" I replied.

"Wow, getting possessive already Kiyomi?" Kiba teased. I let out a gasp.

"No! It's not like that" I answered quickly, feeling embarrassed. "I meant that you should just respect women but not play with them"I quickly said, getting my true message across.

"Don't worry about it I was just teasing"He laughed. "Anyways, how do you like your teammates?" He asked, his goofy smile not leaving his face.

"They are all pretty great so far, I've spent the most time with Sakura and I feel like we are going to be pretty good friends. Sai is really nice, he's patient and I like that. Naruto on the other hand is something else, I almost beat him in our ramen eating contest"I sighed remembering the sad, shameful loss I took.
