Chapter Seven: Sunday

Riri's POV:

"Susuntukin na talaga kita 'pag hindi ka pa tumigil sa kaiiyak jan!".

Caryll is getting mad at me. Kanina pa ako iyak ng iyak sa kanilang dalawa ni Michele.

" oo nga, parang mayron ka namang ginawa para matauhan yang si Ethan". Sambat ni Michele habang nagtetext.

I eat my Ramen that we've ordered. Andito kami sa isang japanese food resto at halos wala masyadong tao dahil linggo ngayon.

" I even don't know what to do. Natatakot akong sabihin sa kanya na alam kong may kameet siyang magandang babae na ipinamumukha sa akin na kuko niya lang ako."

They just stare at me. That day we went to Mall para gumala, Michele saw Ethan with a girl again. But that time nandoon ako at si Caryll din. Halos sugurin ni Caryll dahil sa nakita niya. I went froze at that time. Wala akong ginawa. I mean it's the right thing to do diba?, ayaw ko namang mag iskandalo. Sino ba ako sa kanilang dalawa. They look like a perfect couple.

I'm so lucky I have them both. Bago pa lang sila nagkakilala pero halos sila yung close.

Ethan pemitted me this day para gumala kasama silang dalawa, since he knew them that much.

" oh mga bhe, ano sa inyo? Libre ko." Tanong ni Michele.

Nasa Ice Cream Shop kami to cool ourselves 'ika nga ni Caryll.

We seat near the window glass at yun nga nilantakan ang ice cream. My phone beeps at tinignan kung sino ang nagtext.

'Hey, where are you now?'

Parker.

Dang, I thought One night stand lang yun. He was always checking me out. Minsan nga tumatawag siya pero hindi ko sinasagot. I am afraid Ethan will figure him out at ikukulong niya ako sa kwarto with handcuffs. Pfft

I replied

'At home, why?'

'Then I guess you're not in an ice cream shop with 2 ladies huh?'

"Shit!".

Nabigla ko sila Caryll at Michele.

" na paano ka?". Patawang tanong ni Caryll.

" ay sorry. Hehe. Uhm.. Natatandaan mo pa ba si Parker?"

" oo, bakit?. Oh my god! Wait, he's here?"

" sino si Parker?". Tanong ni Michele.

" yung super emotional 'tong ateng mo, ayun tinext niya ako to get wasted at nameet niya si Parker sa isang bar."

" what?!. Seriously?. Advice lang ter ha, kahit man magloko si Ethan sa iyo, it doesn't mean you made parallel to him. You mean you'll get revenge by hitting other guys too?. If you want to be loyal kahit walang kapalit, then stick to him. You have to fight for him. What goes around comes back around yung motto mo ngayon, ganun bah?. Ethan was straight, may pangangailangan siya sa babae but preferred you to stuck himself all the way. For you to cheat also is a no no. You just have to exert more effort to get him back. Ganun yun teh!!"

Sermon ni Michele sa akin.

She's right. But natatakot ako. Hindi ko alam kung bakit, baka natatakot ako kung mas pipiliin niya yung babae sa akin, itakwil niya ako, ipapahiya niya ako kapag I confront him. I don't know.

Tumayo si  Caryll at pumalakpak ng malakas. She got the attention from all the people who were enjoying their ice cream.

" huy, upo ka nga!". Natatawa kong pag-utos.

" grabe Michele ha, hugot yun. Saang kailalimang hukay yan hinukay mo. Dinaig mo si Madam Bertud teh!"

Caryll was grinning at her. At ako naman halos natatawa na din.

'Are you free tonight?'.

' saan ka ba, bakit alam mo na andito ako sa ice cream shop?'

' look outside'.

Tumingin ako labas at nakita ko siya na nakatitig sa akin .

' may I join?'

I was about to reply nang tumawid siya sa kalsada and the chimney sounded.

Caryll is smirking at si Michele naman parang napissed off.

"Hi!. Uhm.. Pwedi ba akong makijoin?."

Caryll nod at umupo siya sa tabi ko. Damn.

" so, you told me you were at the house."

" uh... Joke lang yun".

Michele and Caryll stood up at nagpaalam na umalis na kasi may bibilhin pa daw sila. They insist at yun nga wala na akong magawa.

" I'm sorry your friends went away maybe because of me?"

" okay lang ano ka ba. May lalakarin din talaga sila. So, ano bang meron ngayong gabi?."

" Do you want to eat somewhere else here?. I'm kind of hungry."

He grabs my hand at nabigla ako dahil sa sudden move niya. I kind of blushed and what the fuck. This is so wrong.

He led me to Choobi2x. He told me that he really liked the foods here specially seafoods. 

I search for unoccupied table and settled myself . He made the order at went back to the table I was seated.

" you know what, you look good when you wear girl's dress".

I wore semi fit blue jeans, v neck black shirt and sneakers.

" talaga?. Parang hindi yata. Yung figure ko hindi naman masyadong feminine"

" seriously, you have white, silky skin, perfect body figure and dramatic brown eyes."

" alam mo, ayoko sa mga lalaki ngayon, mahilig mambola.!"

" no I am not. What I really want to say is you're beautiful."

Then everything just went for a pause.

Damn this guy. Ano bang gusto niyang mangyari?.

" may boyfriend ako Parker. At alam mo yun. Hindi ko naman inexpect na ikocontact mo pa ako."

" I just can't get enough of you. Iba ka sa lahat ng nakilala ko.".

Iba?. Ano bang meron sa akin. Bakit halos namamagnetize ko lahat ng mga half blood na mga eto.

Nang hinatid na kanyang inorder,  takam na takam ako. We ate silently. At minsan sinusubuan niya ako which surprised me. I ignored him at nagpatuloy sa pagkain.

We exited the resto then suddenly he holds my hand.

" Parker, let's get this straight okay, wala akong balak patagalin ito. I'm sorry hindi ko mareciprocate yung gusto mong mangyari sa atin. Let's just be friend okay?"

He sighed and he inserted his hands on his pocket acting like hopeless.

" fine. But please don't shut yourself to me. I will be whatever you prefer , uhm... That sounds good to me"

I smiled at him at napahinto sa nakita ko.

"Ethan"
