Riri's POV:

Welcome to the crowd of villagers a glow

Everybody here wanted something more, searching for a sound they haven't heard before.

And It said WELCOME TO NEW YORK...

Taylor Swift's song 'Welcome to New York busted Ethan's car as he drove us to their house.

" grabe ang tataas ng mga buildings dito!.".

" this is New York babe".

It's 9 am in the morning nang nakalapag ang eroplano sa JFK National Airport. Ethan's mother was not here to welcome us . She said, hindi siya makakarating kasi may morning meeting siya.

I wore thick coat because Ethan told me it will be a snowy season. New York snows in the months of January-February.

" uhg.. It's freezing here.. Malapit na ba tayo Ethan?."

" gusto mo bang mag coffee bago tayo tumungo sa bahay?"

" okay lang ba?."

" uh.. Yeah, kung gusto mo we will. I hate you doing that"

" what?"

" like you're telling me that I have to decide everything."

" I'm sorry".

" it's okay.. Just feel comfortable okay. You're my boss."

Hinalikan niya ang kamay ko and he entertwined with his.

He parked his car near Birch Coffee and we went inside still holding my hands.

"uhh. Ethan.."

" no one will judge us here trust me".

Naghanap ako ng mauupuan at tinanaw ko siya sa counter.
Bumalik siya ng dala dala ang inorder niyang macchiato for him at cortado naman sa akin.

"so, anong mga plano mo ngayon?. Diba may business itineraries ka dito?"

" yeah, may meeting ako bukas pa naman.". He sips his coffee and stares at me.

" I'm so glad you're here with me.".

" kahit na ang ginaw ginaw dito, mamamatay ako ng di oras Ethan".

He laughs at me. As I was about to take a sip of my coffee nang bigla niya akong hinalikan.

It tasted his coffee but somehow I kind of liked it.

"I love you".

I never said a word, instead I sip my coffee blushing so hard habang nakatingin ang mata ko sa kanya.

We went outside at pumasok sa kanyang sasakyan.

It's a long drive to say, yung famous tulay na  Brooklyn Bridge, we passed it somehow covered with snow.

I've been here in Amerika way back years nung dinala ako ng ina ni Ethan. Pero hindi dito sa New York.

Pinikit ko ang mga mata ko dahil na rin siguro sa jetlag kahit na uminom na ako ng kape. Isinandal ko ang aking ulo at natulog .

Nang minulat ko ang aking mga mata ko, I know I'm not at my house kasi hindi ganito ang interior cover ng roof ko. 

Napansin ko na nasa maluwag, hindi lang maluwag pero sobrang maluwag na kwarto fancied with rich things at mga muwebles.

"damn, I forgot I'm in New York. Bumangon ako at nakita ko si Ethan on his table na may ginagawa sa kanyang laptop.

" Ito yung unang pagkakataon na nakita kitang naka-eyeglass"
