Chapter Twelve: Simple

Riri's POV:

" are you sure about this?. Sayang naman Riri, you're one of the best teachers here. Kung may problema man na nakakapagpabagabag sa iyo, tell me and I will surely take actions to solve them".

" uh.. Wala naman pong problema dito sa paaralan. Malaki po ang utang na loob ko dito, sa lahat ng natutunan ko at ng samahan na nabuo ko po sa ibang mga guro.  Sadya po talagang may ibang opurtunidad na nag-alok sa akin at tinanggap ko na po".

" Well, wait. Does Ethan knows this?. Did you tell him you are leaving?"

"Uhm.. Me and Ethan were not in good terms now. Pero hindi ko po masasabi sa inyo ang detalye".

"Ganun ba?. Sure ka na ba dito?".

"Opo."

" okay then. I will surely miss you Riri. Good luck sa bago mong trabaho at sana masaya ka."

" salamat po Sir Albert".

Umalis ako sa opisina niya at tinungo ang teacher's office para magpaalam kina Michele at lahat na close ko na simula pa lang ng pag trabaho ko dito. It's a good bye then.

Michele cries as well as others. Carl just hugged me and told me to keep in touch just like the others and I bid goodbye to them.

Hiwalay na kami ni Ethan. Nanay and Tatay as well as George knew already pero hindi nila alam kung bakit. They respect me for not telling me and not bugged me about it. Pati din ang ina ni Ethan, already knew went hysterical and told me to meet her when she got here.  She also told me to keep in touch and I said okay.

Hindi ko pa ito sinabi kina Christian dahil ayoko silang magambala. Natnat was a grown up now and Macky gets fatter. Natnat was their legally adopted child at napag-alaman na ang pamilya niya ay gumagamit ng droga at nahuli ng mga pulis.

Ethan's cousin Joey  moved to his house at nababalitaan ko kay George na parati silang nag- aaway at nabubugbog ni Ethan. Nanay sometimes called me telling me she missed me so much pati din si Tatay na inimbitahan ako sa birthday niya bukas sa bahay in which magkikita kami ni Ethan for sure. Since it's tatay's birthday, I would take risk at pupunta ako.

Parker and I were dating. I want to give it a try baka mag work out. We're still 'getting to know each other' phase. All I can say was he was very sweet. Maalaga, maalahanin, at hindi niya ako sinasakal and let me venture and be with my friends. Since nag-aaral siya minsan nagpapaturo siya sa akin at naging bonding moments na din namin.

Ethan. Ethan was I don't know kung ano ang naging pinagkakaabalahan niya. I saw him one time sa isang Wine Shop, bumibili ng maraming  klasi ng alak.

We just stare at each other at umalis din siya matapos magbayad. It cuts like a knife knowing na he finally moved on, not following me anymore, not receiving flowers with a card telling how much sorry he was. It was over. It's a cue that he already let me go, that he's done, he's tired of drama, and everything shit. And as for me who let him go, cuts like a fucking knife. 'Yung pakiramdam na naghahalo na gustong gusto mo siya at ang ala-ala na may ibang nagpapasaya pala sa kanya.

Tapos na kami. Yung he will never let me go, naging abo na at nilipad ng hangin. Kasalanan ko ito at pagbabayaran ko.

I decided to buy a gift for tatay. I went to Blue at bumili ng Polo shirts. I went to a gift wrapping shop at pinabalot ito. 

I went to my new rented room malapit sa syudad at nagpahinga.

Naalimpungatan ako ng tumunog ang aking cellphone.

It's a call from Parker.

'Hey'.

' hi'.

'Where are you?'.
