Aurora's POV :
"I'm sorry " he said on a stoic voice and in the next moment he was out of the door .
" No no no no I'm not letting you go without an explanation now mister " I said pretty confidently and dashed out of the door following him . I wanted an explanation from him for what he did ! I'm gonna get what I want .
" Zachary stop " I told huffing . But he didn't listen to me and went straight to his office . Jerk ! How can he ignore me like that ? I huffed and followed him into the office .
He was sitting on his chair and pretended he was doing some important work , I rolled my eyes and entered his office without knocking , I am his mate , ain't I ? His office was huge and screamed luxury, the office is made of red wood which gives a feeling of royalty , all the files and books stacked neatly on the book shelf , and even had a couch too !
I stood in front of me crossing my arms against my chest , I don't know from where I got the courage to stand before him , I could never do that in normal situation but now I need an answer from my jerk of a mate .
He pretended not to notice me and continued with his work , acting like an ass to his to me . "Ahem " I said loudly not caring he doing his work or not , he slowly raised his head and noticed me looking at him , there were butterflies fluttering in my stomach due to our eye contact , but I composed my self .
"Yes ?" He said in a monotone voice , I rolled my eyes due to his tone . "Why are you ignoring me ? " I said flatly . After a few seconds he looked up , with the emotion I couldn't understand , "Who said I'm ignoring you ?" He told with one his eyebrows raised . You sneaky little brat ! He sure does know how to play the cards .
"Fine then don't blame me if I ignore you and forget that you're my mate .. And even when I find another man " I said smirking . I mentally high fived myself for my courage !
In a flash my back was pressed to wall , and I immediately regretted my words . My mate's face was an inch closer to mine , his breath fanning my face , and my stomach making all kind of weird feelings which didn't help either . I could see his piercing blue eyes directly staring into my soul which made me insecure , if I could stare at those Marvellous eyes I would gladly do so , I lose my self in them .
The sudden close proximity made all the hair in my body stand up except my hair though . His minty breath fanning over my cheeks . His two bulky arms caging me within them even I tried to I couldn't get out of it . I eventually gave up and stared right into his eyes . "What did you just say now ?" His voice so deep I could feel his wolf in the edge .
"I said don't blame me of i-i forget that you're my mate and even if I find another m-man " I stuttered . I could se his eyes turning darker every second and his breath getting heavier on my face which made my shiver under him . I kinda loved his breath . Wow I sound like a creep .
Why do you even open your mouth Aurora !! I cringed at my self inwardly
"Don't force me to do things that you don't like aurora " he said huskily . My name coming from his mouth gave me tingles all over my body .
"T-then why are you i-ignoring me ?" I again stuttered like an idiot . I wanted to mentally face palm my self right now . I didn't want to look weak in front of him but I was doing the opposite of strong right now .
wow now I even forgot how to speak ! One ticket to hall of shame please !
"I'm not ignoring you kitten , there are my reasons and I am warning you .. Don't you dare think of any other man " He says his voice laced with a threat . His eyes roaming everywhere on my face which made me insecure . With that he released me from the cage and left me panting for breath due to the close proximity . He sat casually in his chair like nothing ever happened just now .
I just stood there gaping at him but he didn't even bother to look at me again . Oh Moon goddess ! why did you choose him as my mate ? Didn't he feel tingles like every soulmate feel for each other ?? This man is making me lose my sanity . I took a long breath and left the office making sure to shut it quite loudly .
I reached my room and plopped on the bed replaying the events which happened now . My wolf purred from inside I knew she was happy and I rolled my eyes . It gave my shivers whenever I imagine his breath on my face .
Does he feel the same as I do ?? Is he really that heartless which people tell about him ?? So many questions running around me . I didn't know whom to ask what to do ? And on the other hand Jacob is behind me ! Why is my life such a mess ?? It was making me Want to pull my own hairs out . So I simply laid on the bed contemplating about my life . All these endless questions and thoughts pulled me into sleep
