Aurora's POV :

"Can you Pass me the sauce dear " Mellisa asked me while cooking spaghetti . "Yepp" I tossed the sauce to her .

I was pretty comfortable in this house now , I knew few people inside the pack house . I wasn't allowed to roam outside the house due to "my mate's orders" . I was fine with it until Theo was there to keep my company . We were practically best friends , I always ask him about my mate
His likes and dislikes but he always remained a puzzle to me . No one can ever find out what he is thinking . I never had the courage to face him or neither he came to talk to me , there were just moments of eye contact . Till now no one knew about me being the mate of their alpha except few , I was used to getting weird Stares from people .

I was thankful no one knew about me , i have always hated attention either way .

Finishing up breakfast i met theo in gaming room and we decided to play some video games when suddenly theo was still .

"Alpha needs me in his office now Aurora i need to go , I'll be back soon " He said in a clipped tone and left the gaming room .

I felt alone again and i wandered off in the hallways trying to see new routes in the mansion , man .. this is one hell of a mansion . Anybody could get lost easily .

"Luna" i heard a voice behind me , i immediately stopped in my tracks ,
wait ... Nobody knows i am the alpha's mate .!

I slowly turn around to see a huge and bulky man , obviously addressed me as the Luna i have seen this man before , but where ? . "How did you..?" I asked him slowly .

"I apologize Luna i totally forgot to introduce my self , i am Luke and i am in charge of training in Blood moon pack , as per the orders of Alpha i will be joining Beta Theo as your protectors from now on " He finishes off with a slight bow . I didn't know what to think " Uhh.. ok ? " I stammered .

But why ? The question remained inside my head . I already have Theo but i dont think there's any need for another protector .

Luke was already standing near the stairs and kept his eye outside, "Gosh .. this guy is too serious about his job ". I said to myself and slouched on the sofa .

"I am going to gather up some courage and i will ask my mate about this myself " i puffed up my chest to gather some courage .
"I can do this!" .

Later in the afternoon Theo joined me to lunch ,i could make out that his face was little down , my brows furrowed so i slightly nudged him " Are you gonna spill ?" I asked my eyebrows raised .

"I don't know why Alpha included Luke ,even though i was already protecting you and as far as i know there are no issues !" Luke replied with a big question mark on his face .

"I thought so too , so i decided to ask him myself !" I beamed . For a moment he stopped eating his lunch and looked at me as if i have two horns on my head , and the next moment he started laughing his ass off . I was sitting there and watching him laugh , i narrowed my eyes at him , indicating him to stop . " Ok ok .. but that was a nice joke " He chuckled loudly . "Thats it Im done ! " .

I elbowed him right into his ribs , his laugh suddenly turned into a loud groan , it was so funny i started laughing at him , and it was his turn to narrow his eyes at me. I raised my both hands into the air ,"You started it first " i replied smugly .

Time flew so fast , it was already evening and the time for my mate to be back , i was pacing around the room , thinking how to initiate the talk between us and theo was just watching me with amused eyes .

"What ? Don't look at me like that ! " I said feeling embarrassed . He just nodded his head sideways thinking something for himself .

"Let me ask you a serious question " Theo said it out of no where . I looked at him for a good minute to check if his brain was working ok . I then slowly nodded my head unsure of what his question was.

"Why didn't the toilet paper cross the road?"

Whaa..?? His brain has gone hay wire I'm sure of it .

"What type of the question is that ..i was expecting something serious theo.." i asked in a confused state. But he urged me to answer it .

After a minute of thinking my brain couldn't come up with something useful to answer his question .

I raised my hands up in defeat . "I'll let you answer it" .

He chuckled in response, its simple "Because it was stuck in a crack!" .

For a minute i didn't understand but when I did i threw my head back and started laughing until my eyes watered. "You're unbelievable Theo ! " I said still laughing and he was laughing with me too .

"Theo , your job here is finished for the day you may leave now " A thick voice came from behind and i already knew whose it was . His voice had certain tinge of jealousy on it, i may be wrong too anyway.

Theo looked surprised for a minute but he silently made his way outside "Yes Alpha" . I didn't want theo to go he just makes my day less miserable here.

I simply stood there , looking at him ,
" I wanted to talk to you about some things, come with me to my bedroom " . He said quietly to my surprise .

Waitt ! Did i hear it wrong? His room ? Something is not right . I looked up to ask him , and he was already making his way to the stairs .

Wow my mate is such a gentleman . I couldn't believe it .

I slowly made my way to stairs following him , i didn't know what to do i was hesitating to go inside his room , calm down he's not gonna kill you ! ... Will he ? I gulped and entered the room and he was already looking at me directly into my soul right there , it sent shivers down my spine but i managed to pull myself together and looked into his blue eyes , i could forever drown in them .

" Aurora , i regret for acting like that to you , i hope you don't mind . From now on you will stay with me in our room and you can move all of your stuff in here and make yourself comfortable" He said it in a sweet tone and smiled at me . I was almost swooning over his smile , then the things he said registered into my mind ,
I was taken aback , is this my mate ? Is he joking? This has to be some kind of joke, he never acknowledged me since i came here but now he's asking me to move into his room?? Thousands of questions were running in my head . My eyes were wide with shock .

He was looking at me searching for an answer in my eyes .

"B-bu"
Before i opened my mouth to ask something , his eyes were wide , as though he was sacred i would say no, he straightway went inside his bathroom and locked it .

I am standing there and thinking what the heck just happened ? .

This is not my mate . Nada .

I know i know you might be thinking i am the worst writer on wattpad , but i am so sorry guys i really am i hope ya'll forgive me i was very busy with my college and studies i had no time to breathe . But i really wanted to get this chapter up i hope you like it .
