Aurora's POV :

Its been a week since I have been staying in my mate's house pretty much doing nothing other than sitting around and eating . The only source of happiness in this house is Theo he always made time to spend with me I was really glad I had him here .

Me and Melissa were pretty close now even she knew that I was her alpha's mate and that he hasn't bothered to tell anyone yet . It has been bothering me since a week . I even got to know about Melissa , she has two sons who are currently fighters of blood moon pack and she described how she met her mate that is her husband . I really adored them as a couple . Melissa always seemed to be worried about her mate as she says "If i leave that man in the kitchen for a minute he would burn the whole house down".
Every day I help her in kitchen chores because I was good for nothing and I felt really guilty for not doing anything but lying around the whole day .

After she got to know that I am Zachary's mate she insisted not to help her in kitchen but I shushed her either way . Lately my thoughts seems to be drifting towards my old pack ..I missed jade , strangely I missed my parents too . I wish I could talk to jade now and explain my situation but I am helpless . " What would she be doing now? Has Jacob given up on finding me? I hope he has !" I say to myself and sat on the couch reading some comics .

It was already afternoon and still there was no sign of my mate . I missed him even though we don't speak I felt complete whenever he was around .

Theo was with me for lunch , he always made time to have lunch with me . After finishing up we were sitting in the garden to get some fresh air . It was suffocating me to stay inside all times .

"Can I ask you a question Aurora ?" Theo asked looking into my eye . I just nodded my head indicating him to continue. " Who were those people who were chasing you that day ?" Theo asked with some kind of concern in his eyes .
"Those guys wanted to R-rape me Theo , so I hit their leader in the crotch and ran away that's why they were chasing me" I said looking up into his eyes . Theo's hands clenched into a fist and he closed his eyes I could see anger a burst of anger in them . "Its Ok Theo I am safe now " I assured him patting on his back . This may have seemed to relax him as he opened his eyes with a small smile .

"I bet that kick must have hurt him bad " Theo says chuckling I must say you're pretty brave for doing that . "Yep" I said popping the p .

"So.. Were you a rouge before we found you on the edge of the cliff ? " he says with curiosity evident in his eyes . I kept quiet not knowing what to answer but he continued , "But I get a strange aura around you , you seem to emit some kind of power or authority whenever you order around .. That's not common for a rouge you know? . I have a doubt that you may be a daughter of an alpha or a beta to say the least " Theo says looking into my eyes searching for an answer . I kept mum but on the inside I felt a pang of guilt for hiding so many things from him , even though he makes me feel at home .

"It's Ok Aurora whenever you feel you can share it I am always next to you to listen to your every word " Theo says with a wide smile . "Thank you so much for understanding me Theo" I hug him . "It really means a lot to me " I say honestly .
When the time comes I will tell him the truth but not now . I want the things to cool down before I can tell anyone .
I was in no mood to talk anymore " Hey I am feeling tired I guess I'll just take a nap okay?" I tell him pretending to be sleepy . "Yeah sure Aurora even I have some work to do in the pack office see ya later " He winks and waves goodbye to me .

I was strolling around the house until I reach my room , the conversation between me and Theo kept on repeating in my head I couldn't help but feel bad for not telling him the truth .

When I was about to climb the stairs I could hear some voices coming from the corner of the hallway so i decided to check so I slowly walked towards the voices to get a better view of who it was .

"Did you hear a young alpha lost his mate to some kidnappers ? They were supposed to get married a week ago , he loved her so much it breaks my heart " a girl of my age was saying to her group of four to five friends . As soon as I heard that I stilled . My brain went into a momentary shock .

"He has not given up on finding her and he will find her even if she is on the other half of the world ! I wish I could have a mate like him !" She says dreamily and all her friends nod in response .

What am I supposed to do ? Are they talking about my old pack ? About Jacob and me ?

No no no this can't be happening right now ! But does this mean my parents did not tell Alpha Damon that I ran away ? How could they do that? I even took all my documents including my passport ! They should have known !

They would have lied and made them believe that someone has kidnapped me . That's why Jacob wants to find me . My life can't get any more worse than it already is .

This means that even Zachary and Theo must know about this ! Of course they would know how could they not ?

If I stay here Jacob will find me , I have to do something . I can't stay here anymore even though it breaks my heart . I can't even tell anyone about my situation . Even if I tell Theo he will let Zachary know about it . I don't want anyone to fight for me I am not worth it . Its better that I run away from here as soon as possible .
