**Percy's POV**
I shielded my eyes as the bright sun hit my eyes. It was a warm, sunny day at Camp Half Blood, which meant lots of training today. I quickly got dressed. I headed to get some breakfast and talk to Annabeth.
"Morning, Annabeth." I said, giving her a nod. She politely nodded back and we continued eating.
Right in the middle of my cereal, we were called to the entrance of the camp. Chiron stood with a teenage girl, probably a year or two younger than me.
"Attention, everyone," he said. "This is Maura. She is new here, so please assist here when needed."
Maura looked like she was trying to make sense of everything- a magical camp full of the offspring of gods, a camp activities director that is a centaur- she's probably feeling how I was feeling when I came here.
Chiron patted her in the back and trotted away, back to whatever he was doing before. I couldn't just let her stand there on the center of attention. I could tell she felt nervous. Her palms were sweaty and she was in an akward position.
"Hey!" I yelled and waved at her in a friendly way.
**Maura's POV**
What in the world is going on here... So, I'm brought to this magical camp, where only I can pass through the gates and then there's a camp counselor that's half horse?! Okay, Maura. Wake up from this dream. Wake up.. Wake up! Gahh. This can't possibly be real.
"Hey!" A boy yells and waves in a friendly way at me. Okay, I'm starting to think this is real. My hands are actually wet with sweat. I smile back at the boy. The girl next to him gives a smile and a short wave.
I walk towards them. They seem friendly.
"Uh... Hi, my name is Maura.." I say awkwardly, holding out my hand. The girl shakes my hand first.
"Annabeth." She says.
Then the boy reaches out, "Percy."
"Uh... Hi. So, um, exactly where am I and why am I seeing centaurs..." I ask.
The boy scratches his head. "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood. Trust me, you're not going crazy."
"What do you mean half-blood?"
"You are half blood of a god, and half human." Annabeth says.
"What?" I say. "You're telling me I'm half god? I've got to be going crazy."
"Trust me. I felt the same way." The boy says. "They call us demigods."
"Uh, okay, then. So.." Then it hits me. "That's why I've never met my dad? Because he's a god?"
"Yeah, probably." Percy scratches his head. "I'm the son of Poseidon." He says.
"Daughter of Athena." Annabeth states.
"So who's daughter am I?" I ask.
"Well, we'll have to find that out." Annabeth says. "Do you have any abilities?"
By now we are walking to where Percy stays.
"I honestly don't know." I say. Annabeth whispers to Percy.
"Okay. We're going to try everything we know to find out who your dad was." They say together.
For the next two hours they try to unlock whatever is inside of me. They ask me questions, and quiz me on things. I have no idea what that had to do with anything.
I change into a bathing suit Annabeth lets me borrow.
"Okay. Lets see how long you can stay underwater."
I go under and stay here for what I think is 30 seconds. Then I resurface.
"Um, so how did I do?" I ask. There mouths are wide open. "What?" I ask.
I look up to see a blue trident floating above my head.
I am a Daughter of Poseidon, and Percy is my half brother.
