Richard's/Robin's POV
I walked into a back hall of the manor. I took a large red button, obviously, out of an inner pocket in my jacket. I pressed the button, automatically hearing screams behind me from the party.
"Show time," I said in my earpiece to Artemis and Barbara.
"Everyone over the mental link is frantic," Artemis reported.
"Same for the civilians," Barbara supplied.
"Let's do this," I said, shedding my suit jacket and button up shirt, revealing my Red X costume. I quickly got dressed, throwing on my skull mask and clicking my Xenuthium supplied belt. I walked back into the room where the party was going on. My flash bomb has emitted smoke, which still floated in the air, giving me cover as I moved.
"Making my way to the center of the room," I said. "Barbara, move to intercept a computer chip from Bruce's office. I will meet you in there once the team is taken care of. Artemis, what is the status on the team?"
"Team is assembling in the middle of the room. I am moving to join them now," Artemis said back.
I stood still for a second before entering into the center of the room. I pressed a button on my belt, turning the heat vision in my mask on. I saw the protege team gathered together. I watched as Artemis joined the team, the teenagers moving to stand back-to-back, preparing for an attack from all sides. By now, all of the civilians had left the room, leaving only the team and myself.
I smirked to myself as I used the power of the suit to teleport into the middle of their circle. "Well, if it isn't the sidekicks," I remarked in my monotone voice.
The entire team gasped, whipping around, settling into fighting positions. "We aren't sidekicks!" Kid Flash exclaimed as he rushed forward in an attempt to punch me. I quickly teleported behind him, thrusting out my hand to send a sticky red X that secured itself around his torso, pinning his arms to his body.
I turned around to see the rest of the team staring at me, still in fighting positions. I grabbed a couple of shuriken out of my belt, and fell into an offensive position. "Anybody else want to dance?" I asked.
With a loud battle cry, Aqualad surged forward, his water bearers gathering water from the mansion. With a final cry, he attempted to bring down the massive wave onto me. Luckily, at the last minute, I rolled forward, sending an uppercut into Aqualad's chin. He fell back at the sudden momentum.
I didn't get a break before my next attack as Superboy grabbed me into a strong embrace. Squeezing as hard as he could, he attempted to get me to surrender. But, I can teleport for a reason. I teleported behind the clone, doing a roundabout kick into his head. He turned around to face me, the kick not affecting him too much.
"Have a hard head, do you?" I asked.
He didn't seem to like that too much.
He ran forward once again, attempting to throw more punches. Meanwhile, Aqualad was recovering. "Miss Martian, I want him disabled!" I heard the Atlantean yell.
In response, I jumped into a backwards flip. As I jumped, I threw a sticky X at the Martian. She quickly fell to the ground, Superboy yelling at her as he ran over. I landed into a crouch.
"Zatanna! Artemis!" Aqualad yelled as he sent a wave of water at me. This time, I was caught in the wave. I was swept back until I slammed into a wall at the opposite side of the room. As I landed on my back with a loud thud, Artemis sent three arrows in my direction. I managed to roll out of the way, throwing another sticky X at the mouth of Zatanna, not allowing her to speak any spells.
