Chapter 49

Evie's POV

'Blair where are we going?' I asked as we all sat in Blair's car on the way to camping. I didnt know whether to be excited, scared or bored because I had never been camping before.

'Just a woods up in London, we won't be that far from home, it's only for two days just to see if you guys like it or not' he said as he drove into a turning for the forest.

'Right lets sort out tents. I haven't got that many so harvey you can share a tent with me. Joey and ollie you can share a tent and then Ryan, Laura, Evie and Jordi, do you four mind sharing a tent all four of you?' he asked.

At first I though oh no that's gonna be annoying, the four of us but then I realised it would be safer and more snug.

'Yeah sure that's fine' Jordi smiled as he looked at me, Laura and Ryan to make sure we agreed.

'Right then lets get set up!' ollie grinned.

We all helped put up the tents and get the things out ready but i had to sit out for a bit because I was getting all hot and bothered and stressed.

I didnt like the idea of camping in a woods for two days. I know it was with overload, harvey and a responsible adult, as in Blair. But I just didnt like the thought of it.

Jordi's POV

As we were all helping eachother set up the tents I saw that Evie looked like she was about to throw up so I told her to sit out for a bit.

'Babe are you alright?' I asked, comforting her by putting my arm around her.

'Yeah thanks baby. It's just I've never been camping and I'm terrified' she said, her voice trembling.

'Babe what of?' I slightly laughed.

'Everything. Like what's gonna be out there. What could come and get us. What strangers are about.' She said. Looking like she was about to cry.

'Babe' I spoke. Hugging her tightly.

'Nothing can get you. I'm here. I can even stay awake all night with you in my arms if it makes you feel safer' I suggested.

'No babe you can't do that for me. Please no' she insisted.

'Well we can both stay up then but I'll let you be the first one to get to sleep so you know I'm still here' I smiled.

'Thankyou Jordi. Babe I love you and I dunno what I'd do without you' she wrapped her arms around my waist as I kissed her on the head.

'Now lets get going. Blairs gonna want us to help with his tent now. Knowing him he won't read the instructions' I laughed as me and Evie got up off the massive tree trunk led sideways on the ground that we were just sat on. And off we went to help Blair.

'I've nearly done it but Jordi boy can you pass me those instructions please?' blair asked me.

'Yeah sure' I said, handing him the paper with the instructions on "how to set up a tent" on.

'Yay finally' harvey clapped as him and Blair had finished.

Ollie and Joey had finished their tent a couple minutes after Blair and harvey and then Laura, Ryan, Evie and I had finished ages ago.

'Now to put the sleeping bags in' Joey said.

'Let's get going. It's gonna be tea time soon and we need to set up a fire ready' Ryan spoke.

I kept looking at Evie who really didnt like this idea of camping at all. I could see it in her eyes, even the way she looked at me. I could tell she was scared.
