Chapter 79

Evie's POV

Finally me and Jordi were all alone, sat right in the middle of the field watching the beautiful sunset as we waited for the others to arrive.
'It's beautiful' I said to him as I pointed to the sky.
'I know but not as beautiful as you' he smirked.
'Oh stop it you' I winked.

In the distance there were kids walking by, and teenagers on skateboards gliding along the pavements. It felt like an American summer even though we were in England. It felt amazing.

'Is that Harvey, Ollie, Joey and Andy?' Jordi asked as he pointed towards a few guys entering the gates to the field.

'Yeah I think so' I squinted at the blinding sun that was just about going down.

'Guyssss' Harvey sprinted over, Joey followed, almost as if the two of them were having a race of some sort.

'Heyyy' I smiled and waved at the two of them who arrived pretty quickly followed by Ollie and Andy who looked pretty happy.

'Heyyya' they both said in unison.
'Yooo' Jordi fist bumped each of them and I just got up to hug them.

'So where's Laura and Ryan?' Joey asked.
'Coming in a bit, they'll probably be here soon actually' I smiled.
'Cool' Harvey grinned.

'What about Charlie and Leondre?' I asked.
'I know Jordi thought they'd be busy with Blair but do you reckon we could maybe invite them after Laura and Ryan get here because I think it would be nice to hang around with them more often' I continued.

'I'm sure my brother and Charlie would love to. Let's do that' he smiled.
'I'll call Leo after Ryan and Laura arrive' he smiled as he poked is hand in his pocket and pulled out his phone ready.

Harvey's POV

It felt so amazing for us all to be hanging out for once. Like one big family. Some of us had knew each other for years and some of us had only recently just met. The sun was going down but there were quite a few people hanging out this evening so I felt safe. And plus we were altogether anyway so nothing terrible was exactly going to happen.

'Guyssss' I looked up and saw Ryan and Laura walking and shouting towards us.

I put my phone away and got up to greet them as did Evie, Ollie and Joey.

'Heyyy' Evie smiled as she and Laura hugged, Joey and Ryan hugged and so on.

'Hiii' Laura waved at me. As I hugged her and Ryan joined in.

'Where's bam? I mean Charlie and Leo?' Laura laughed as she corrected herself.

'Well we were literally just waiting for you guys to get here then Joey was gonna call them' I Ollie smiled.

'Ahhhh awesome lets do that' Laura clapped.

Joey pulled out his phone and begun to ring his brother to ask if him and Charlie would be able to join us.

Joeys POV

It seemed to ring for ages but it suddenly went to voice mail and no one picked up.

'That's odd let me try again.' I peered down at my phone, altering the brightness as i dialled the number again.

'Hello' I spoke.

'Yo yo yo it's Leo' I heard my brother yell down the phone.

'Hey bro are you ok?' I asked politely.
'Yeah thanks bro you?' he asked back.

'Yep thanks. Are you with Charlie?' I questioned.

'Yep why?' he spoke.

'Well me and the crew are at the field for this evening and we wondered if you guys weren't too busy with Blair and wanted to join us?' I explained.

'Naa Blair is with his family tonight anyway I'm just at Charlie's house at the moment but yeah sure me and Charlie would love to come along!' I heard his voice perk up as he answered.

'Okay Leo! and also if you want me to come and meet you I will'

'Umm naaa we'll be okay I'm sure. We'll see you in a bit, Byee Joey' he spoke.

'Byee bro' I said as I put the phone down, making sure he wasn't gonna say anything else, as I didn't wanna hang up and be rude.

'He said they're leaving now' I said to the rest of them, as I shoved my phone back into my pocket.

'Wooo' Harvey cheered.

'Oh am I on my own' he put his hands down and paused as he looked around. Blushing.
'Yeah Harv you're on your own mate' Ollie patted his back.
