Evie's POV

'Where are we going then?' I smiled looking up at Jordi's glistening tanned face and his beautiful blonde hair as the raindrops trickled down his bright yellow coat. We walked along the town hand in hand.

'Where would you like to go?' he smiled kissing my cheek softly.

'Ummm what about nandos?' I suggested. Not really minding if he said no.

'Sounds great!' he said.

'Let's do that then! it's only a couple of streets up so do you wanna get the bus or shall we just walk?' he offered.

'It's fine I don't mind walking. More time with you then' I shyly commented.

'Ooh you saying you love me?' he smirked, teasing me.

'No duh you banana' I laughed.

'Ok that's just rude. Don't offend my yellow coat' he tried not to laugh.

'Yeah, oh yeah what ya gonna do about it?' I stood there waiting for him to say something else. It took me by surprise when he didn't say a word, he did something else instead. He smirked and then lifted me off my feet.

'Goodness me' he laughed.

'Heavy' he joked.

'Oi' I giggled knowing that he was only teasing me.

'Thats getting you back for what you said about my yellow coat' he said as he jokingly protected his coat which he loved.

'Why don't you go out with your coat then and marry it have lots of yellow babies' I tried to keep a serious face but ended up cracking up at my own joke.

His face suddenly got serious. I honestly thought he was actually offended by it but he leaned it towards my face, still holding me by my waist as he was carrying me bridal style.

'No but honestly I do wanna marry you one day' he whispered as his voice became more raspy and deep. It was gorgeous.

I just smiled at the thought as he leaned in and kissed me.

Then the rain started pouring down. Literally chucking it down.

'Here have my coat' he said as he took off his coat and placed it over me.

I gave him a teasingly serious look as he placed the yellow coat on me and the rain continued to tip it down, soaking his beautiful blonde hair.

'Lets go' he slowly grinned as he took a slow pace jog down the road and off we went.

Jordi's POV

It had been ages since me and Evie had done this. Done it properly. Hang out that is. Nothing else.

When I had carried her all the way to Nandos I carefully put her down noticing the laces on her converse had gotten so wet that I decided to tie them up for her.

'Babe I can tie them myself' she blushed sounding slightly amused.

'It kinda looks like I'm proposing huh?' I teased.

She nodded and laughed.

I stood back up again as she thanked me for tying them up.

'I love you' she whispered in my ear when I took her hand and grasped it in mine.

'Love you more' I kindly argued. Before she could say anything else I pressed my lips to hers, the rain still pouring down all over us.

'Let's go inside' I held the door for her as she went to find a seat as I suggested she should before it got to busy. But surprisingly it wasn't too busy at all. Only a few families of about three to four were in there and a young couple who were just a bit older than me and Evie.

I went to get some menus as there were oddly none at our table and I took them back to Evie. Once we had decided what we wanted. Off I went to order.
